Seriously though I had so much fun with this! It was my weekly exercise for my senior project class but it ballooned. Hey, it gave me more practice with the coloring pipeline, so I have a better grasp of how to do that efficiently. I just couldn’t NOT do this trend though, and with Chambersite! You guys enjoyed her last animation a lot!

Going Home (Steven Universe AU)

Since I didn’t post any of these here, why not post them all together? For those not in the know, I started up an SU AU a with my friends early in the year and I’ve been having a lot of fun working on it, especially since I’ve gone back to my roots and it feels nice to draw! Story wise, Carnelians 8RL (Ariel), 8AL (Cal), and Jasper 8AY (May) all came from the Beta Kindergarten on Earth. 8RL and Jasper quickly sparked a romance and were fusing all the time. When Pink was shattered and Blue and Yellow took over, it was Blue who decided to move the Betas to the Human Zoo, but when she came across the fusion Citrine, she wanted them shattered too. In her grief, however, Blue was persuaded to spare both Jasper and Carnelian if Jasper continued to fight in the war and Carnelian was sent to the Zoo. Thus, Carnelian and Jasper were separated until the Zoo visited Earth in Era 3, but 5000 years changed more than either of them were prepared for.
