Between cheap and expensive 🎨, the perfect mix of #colors 💗 Today arrived my @drphmartins concentrated #watercolors got them at a great price at @michaelsstores 🖌 Plus got the @goldenpaints Micaceous Iron Oxide for a special project I'm working. A year ago in a very defining moment in my life, I had two options, I could let it break me or I could turn that situation into an opportunity to live the life I always wanted. Life is too precious, and we only get to live it once, every second, every moment counts. To live a full happy life I decided to put #ThisFirst 🎨 I always loved #art 🖌 I started #watercolor #painting as a way to express myself, and it quickly turned into a way of living that until that day I never looked back. Painting is my #happyplace 😊 my way to inject some #color into the world, to make memories last forever. To put #thisfirst would mean to live #free 🌊💗 to live a #creative life with no boundaries, it would mean that all the hard work, all the nights spent in the #artstudio would finally see the light of day, it would mean that my son Aiden's purpose in this world was fulfilled, in his short life on #earth he taught me that I was destined to do much more in my life that just being sitting in an office, that I could live my life to my full potential if I just let it. This #mermaid at 💗 #illustration is a commission work for a gorgeous little #surfer girl. And yes, that's her name, it's not misspelled, in fact its written in #spanish which in english means Stella of the #Sea 🌊 The mermaid #fin was a bit challenging for me as an #artist because she wanted it with this sort of juniper green with hints of orange #coral tones, which you may know, they don't mix because they create muddy #colors 🎨 Somehow I made it work, with careful placement of the color drops and how wet the area was. Hello Creatives! Today I re-launched my #website, I re-designed from header to footer (a.k.a top to bottom 😂) I spent the most intense days, but they were well worth it. This is the second re-design in 6 months, and the reason was that my first #design didn't felt like me, after taking some courses in which the instructor kept repeating that we need to narrow our niche, I went for my #1 passion which is #watercolors 🎨 but the problem with that was that I also love #acrylicpainting 🖌 #ink and recently #gouache 💗 #art is a huge part of my life, and picking just one literally made me feel incomplete. So I decided, after 6 months in that I wanted to follow my instincts and #blog 😊 make #tutorials and create the #content I #love • I'm super in love with page, hope you all will love it too.
