a/n: I wrote this to self-sooth, don't mind me.
You woke up crying, sobbing so hard that you were sure it was your choking and sniffing that brought you out of your slumber. Your boyfriend was none the wiser, still peacefully asleep next to you as you cried and trembled in the wake of your nightmare.
"Lixie..." You said weakly between your tears, gently shaking him until you felt him roll over. "Lixie, please." There was desperation in your voice that caused Felix to sit up quickly, pushing the grogginess aside when he saw the state you were in.
"Oh, sweetheart please don't cry. Was it another nightmare?" He reached over to take you into his arms, your tears soaking into his shirt as you nodded.
"T-they... left me. Everyone... everyone left m-me." You stammered out, pulling at his clothes in frustration because you physically couldn't get any closer to him. When you had thoughts like this, no amount of physical affection was enough, feeling the need to crawl into his chest and hide away until it was safe again. "And y-you're going to leave t-too."
"Baby no, no I'm not. I'm not going anywhere, I can promise you that."
"You can't promise that! Everyone leaves! Everyone leaves eventually!" Your emotions running wild and unchecked, you felt yourself looking at your body from the outside, no longer in control of yourself. Your episodes had become so few and far between that you had almost forgotten what they felt like, but Felix never forgot. He had been in the line of fire more times than he'd like to think about, but he was always there at the end when it all came crashing down. He had learned early on to not take anything personally during your episodes, knowing you weren't in any more control of the situation than he was in those moments.
"I'm not leaving, I'm not going anywhere. The whole world could leave you and I'd still be here with you." His grip on you tightened as he pressed a kiss to the top of your head and ran his fingers gently along your spine. "As long as I'm alive, you'll never be alone."

Jiho looked to his left and afar. The light from the convenience store illuminated his stature and she tried all that she could to not mentally utter a compliment because it wasn't her place to do that anymore. She already let him go, she already hurt him— what right does she have to long for him?

[Okay I just thought of this today and started to write it 3 hrs ago. This is my first angst so usdhuiashd idk if it would give justice to the genre.

It had been exactly 10 months since that ugly morning. That morning filled with tears, regret, heaviness that lasted even weeks after— it was a sunrise with darkness that escaped from the night.
But now she was happy.
But was she, really?
After graduating and passing the judicial exam she is now near to achieving her long life dream of becoming a judge. To finally make her mother shut up every time she tries to condescend her father, to stop her from reminding him of his past failures, to overshadow that by making her proud of her daughter's success. She finally can cross another in her lists of ambitions— but there were now questions she began to ask herself.
Am I supposed to celebrate this with someone?
Am I supposed to climb the stage hand in hand with someone?
Am I supposed to be in the middle with no one to dance with?
Sol B sits on the bench by a river and takes a sip from her juice carton. She takes in the freezing cold and let it escape with an exhale. Her thoughts were in havoc, those questions screaming in the silence. She's achieving every big thing that she ever wanted to achieve but why does it feel so—
it just feels so..
she feels so empty.
It's not the only time she felt like this. Right after she graduated from Hankuk Law, she sat on her dorm bed and just stared into space. She was happy, ecstatic even, but the void just started to pull her in and let her feel like everything she ever possessed and would ever posses wouldn't satisfy her.
She didn't want to be empty. She went through every bad thing to be here, with blood and bruises all over. She didn't want to spend midnights thinking of giving up just because she didn't feel like giving her best anymore. This wasn't her. She was supposed to be Kang Sol B— ambitious, prideful, cunning, smart and successful. But now, all she thought she ever was, was alone.
She was all alone.
Kang Sol B pulled herself out of her inner chaos and stood up, and pulled out her car keys. Her car pinged as she unlocked it and she tossed the empty carton into a bin beside the bench.
"Noona!"
She turned her head to see four people approaching her, clearly drunk except for one— Han Joon Hwi.
"Roomie! You didn't join us. "
"She's not your roommate anymore, Sol-ah." Han Joon Hwi looked at her with an amused smile and held her by her shoulders. Judging by his gentle demeanor towards her namesake, they were still together. Of course they would be, they were Han Joon Hwi and Kang Sol A— inseparable.
She can't say the same for herself and—
"It's a shame you didn't join us, Ye Seul really just said 'yes' to—"
"Hahahahahah." Bok Gi took 4 steps backwards and put his arm around Ye Beom. "All of us including Ye Seul noona had a good time earlier!"
Bok Gi pinched Ye Beom's shoulders and the latter grimaced with the pain.
"You heading home already?" Joon Hwi smiled at her. It was that same care-freeness that made her infatuated for the boy. But of course being her, she rebuilt her walls every single time they were about to break and she swerved falling too deep— except towards the other person.
"Ne. Take care, all of you." She drew out a smile on her face that gave everyone shock.
"Oh? My roomie smiled!" Sol A covered her mouth with a palm. "How adorable."
"And for the record Bok Gi, I already know. So you can let go of Ye Beom now." Bok Gi's eyes widened and Ye Beom struggled out of his grip.
"I'll be off now." Sol B was about to go inside her car but the curly-haired boy called her again.
"Are you okay Noona?" After hearing that Sol B turned her head around and raised an eyebrow.
"You, Bok Gi. Are you okay?"
"Yeah, for a long time now." he smiled and Sol B nodded at his answer. She went inside her car and started the engine.
It was a short drive on the way home, Sol B tried to push thoughts of that heartbreaking morning out of her head as they started to haunt her again, now that she was again vulnerable for the haunting, now that she felt like she was all alone and wished she wasn't.
And Bok Gi stood there, knowing Sol B didn't answer his question.
Kang Sol didn't know what to do, all she knows is that she's right in front of the person that used to be hers.
"Kang Sol."
He was only the one who didn't call her Sol B. She found comfort in that. She wasn't 'B' to him, she was just Kang Sol.
But she had to put on her strongest façade, she had to. Her emotions had no room in his life anymore, her pain would only be an inconvenience.
"Long time no see, Jiho-ya." She managed to say.

Jiho returned his attention to Sol and an icy breath escaped from his lips. His lips drew into a thin line, almost a smile. "You wanna talk?"
After hearing that, Sol B began to ask herself, "Do I want this?"
Do I need this?
But then she knew she sought closure. She knew she already needed to let go of the yearning that entrapped every cell in her body. She needed to stop the nights, where she longed for him, from reoccurring. She also needed to let go of the unnecessary anger that made her paint him as a villain after knowing he was with another now— because he wasn't. She was in pain and she was the one who let him go.
"Let's talk." So this was what she decided to answer.
It happened at the break of dawn.
Both of them laid on her bed, skin to skin. She sat up and looked down at him, knowing that she had to do what she was about to do.
"Mmm. Sol?" Jiho looked up at her with one eye open, and smiled. "What is this, you woke up before me?"
It was the morning after the night Kang Sol fought with her mom, and Jiho covered her, using his body as a shield from her mother's slaps. Her heart was torn into pieces as she saw Jiho inflicted by the pain that was supposed to be for her. She was showered with horror as a nail scratched Jiho's cheek and then her legs ultimately gave away. She stumbled and fell to the ground.
She heard Jiho calling out to her, his hands shaking her, and asking her if she was okay.
"I don't care what kind of jerk you choose to fool around with, but if you ever get any less than an A+ again, you're not my daughter anymore. I didn't raise you to be a dumb slut!"
"Eommeoni!" Jiho couldn't stand Sol's mother anymore.
"Don't call me that!" The door slammed after her mom went inside their house.
After that incident, Jiho took Sol back to her dorm room. It was empty, the other Kang Sol was celebrating the holidays with her family and Joon Hwi so she was left all alone there.
Jiho gently let her sit on her bed and cupped her face. "I'm here. I can take the hurt, I can protect you. "
But I can't let you get hurt. I can't let you be thrown stones at for my sins.
Sol B stared at the beau in front of her. She couldn't utter a single word because everything in her already decided it would be best to let go of him. To spare him from the chaos, to let him have the peace that she couldn't afford to give him— not in this lifetime. He already had enough of the pain, he already had enough of the suffering that he felt when his father passed away. She needed to do this.
But when should she? When would be the best time to break it off?
"Drink this. " Jiho handed her a glass of water and then stood up. "I'll leave you be for now. I know you need this." he started to walk towards the door.
"Just.... call me if you're ready for company." He laughs, his shoulder shaking as he tried to lighten up the sour mood.
Kang Sol wasn't yet ready to let him go so now something pushed her body towards him and she pulled Jiho into a deep, ardent kiss.
"Sol." Jiho said between kisses.
"I need you."
So she pulled his body into hers that night, and decided she would let him go the next morning.
"What?"
"I can't do this anymore."
"Kang Sol."
She looked at him, who just finished changing into his clothes. She liked hearing that from him. Only Kang Sol, never Sol B. Just Kang Sol.
But she immediately looked away. "I've been thinking about this for a long time now." Liar. "I want to break up with you."
"If this is about yesterday I—"
"No. I've wanted to break up with you for a long time now." Kang Sol was well aware of how she was rashly lying through her teeth, she hopes he won't notice this.
"No. You need time. I'll give you time. I'll call you exactly a month from now and tell you where to meet up."
"Seo Ji Ho."
"I'll go now."
Sol B was left there in the room, resolution unwavering. Even if she gets a call a month, or even a year from now, as long as her mom doesn't change she has no choice.
She needs to leave it all behind.
"You didn't really come that night." Sol didn't give in. On January 20, all she ever did was stare at her phone that was ringing, with Ji Ho's name on the bright screen.
"I told you I really wanted to break up with you."
A laugh escapes from Ji Ho's lips. "Yeah, I get that now."
"Jiho-yah."
Ji Ho turned to look at her. Both of them on swings and it was an ungodly night, with autumn leaves falling by their feet and the hint of cold air.
"I'm sorry for hurting you back then. " Sol stared down at the leaves by her feet. Her face trying to remain stoic after just releasing that one burden from her body.
There was nothing but silence. But instead of it troubling her, it was calming. She slowly relaxed and let her body sway with the swing a bit. Though her gaze was still avoiding him, she knew a tear would escape if she didn't.
"For the first few weeks, I didn't understand you at all. "
Sol froze.
"It was... heavy. You were all that I had. " Sol B looked at him now. "After that morning, I tried to convince myself that you were just so hurt and needed time. That you would immediately come to your senses, that you would call me and say sorry, that you didn't mean it."
"But then you really didn't answer my call. Or even come to Hankuk, where I told you I'd wait for you." Jiho now looked back at her. "But I get it now. It's not heavy anymore."
Jiho smiled at her and it broke her. It gave away that he was okay now, that he really doesn't love her that way anymore. That he was now happy with somebody else.
"You, are things better now?"
"Mom continued to have therapy. "
"That's good."
"I—I.." Sol tried to not let her emotions betray her. "I'm better now. I get to be a judge now and, things are starting to become better between mom and dad."
"I'm proud of you, Kang Sol."
That was it. A tear escaped and she cursed at herself for letting it fall. It was all she ever wanted to hear. She'd spent nights wondering if ever there was someone out there thinking about her, how they were proud of what she's become. And she wanted him, especially him, who knew all about her dreams to say that he knows how much she wanted this and how much she worked hard for it, to say that he's proud. She would lie awake on her bed, thinking if ever she would hear those words from somebody, and now she's hearing it from him.
"Sol." He panicked, stood up and kneeled in front of her.
She feigned a laugh. "No, I'm okay." She rashly tried to wipe her tears away.
"Seo Ji Ho, I said i'm okay." she said as she saw that he still had a worried look on his face.
He sighed and smiled. "Okay." He stood up and fixed his glasses. "Just know that.. I know you worked hard for this and you deserve this."
"Just shut up already."
He raised a brow and smirked. "Well, the great Kang Sol did that all without my help. I can't help but be proud."
"You did help me." She looked up at him. "You were a home. A comfort."
"But you didn't deserve to be used up, you deserved to be given the best." She smiled. "Are you happy now?"
Jiho knows what she meant. "Yeah."
"I'm very happy now."
"Well. " Sol B stood up and shook the dust from her lap. "I'd better go now, I still need to buy something. " She pointed at the convenience store with a thumb.
She started to walk towards the store and waved goodbye at him, not looking back.
"Goodbye, Kang Sol."
She slowed her steps and waited for him to walk away, far away from her.
And when she was sure he was already gone, she released her sobs and tears started to uncontrollably fall. She couldn't step inside the store so all she did was stand outside, bawling, praying that no one would pass by and see her.
All she knew is that she didn't want to be alone anymore. Just for this moment, she wanted someone to walk with her home, to be with her until she was okay. She couldn't think of anyone she would dare disturb, but she decided to call one person that would at least understand her.

"Wake up!" Sol removes the comforter that was covering his husband's body and started shaking him. "Han Joon Hwi, ireona!"
"Mmm, Sol-ah. Why?" Joon Hwi covered his eyes with his arm to shield them from the rays of sunlight and wondered why the love of his life was forcing him out of their bed so early in the morning.
"Ireona! Jebal.." Joon Hwi immediately shot up as Sol's voice started to crack and he examined her face. Sol teared up and Joon Hwi noticed she was holding something tightly, stick close to snapping into half.
"Babe, what's wrong? Are you okay?" Joon Hwi held both of her arms and looked up at her.
Sol had been so emotional these days, well, more than she usually is. Sol always has been a passionate ball of fury, but Joon Hwi especially had it rough this week. He doesn't find Sol annoying or tiring for any of that matter, but he would wonder why Sol would suddenly cry or get mad at him for absolutely no reason, and if there was, then he avoided asking it as when he did that one time, Sol only got more mad at him. There was also yesterday when Joon Hwi sprayed on himself the perfume that Sol gifted to him on their wedding anniversary last April and Sol suddenly pinched her nose close and walked outside of their bedroom. And now, Sol was in tears, sobbing, at 7 am in the morning.
"Babe.. I'm starting to worry. What's wrong?"
"I told you to be careful!!!" Sol lightly punched his shoulder and bawled.
Joon Hwi raised his arm and wiped her tears using the sleeves of his sweater, pulling on the cloth with his fingers. "What did I do wrong? Calm down for a sec and tell me.."
"Don't tell me to calm down!"
"O-okay." Joon Hwi surrendered for a while and let Sol release all of her emotions. Moments later, her sobs started to simmer down and Joon Hwi opened his arms wide. "C'mere."
Sol bended down and let Joon Hwi's arms circle around her. Her lower body slowly went closer to him and then she sat on his lap, her shoulder against his chest. Joon Hwi wiped down the dampness on her face and caressed her arm. "Now, babe, talk to me, okay? I'm never gonna know what I did wrong if you won't tell me."
Sol faced him and tried to form intelligent words. "Well, you—"
"Hmm?"
"I'm—" Her mouth started to form into a pout and tears started fall again from her eyes. "Joon Hwi-ah." She released sobs again and buried her face into his neck. Joon Hwi sighed and patted her arm.
"Babe—"
"I'm pregnant."
Joon Hwi paused his movements and pulled his head back away, lightly pushing Sol by her shoulders, to let Sol face him. Sol's eyes wandered down to her left hand and Joon Hwi followed them, then he grabbed the stick from her hand.
It was a pregnancy test. Two red-dyed lines. Positive.
Joon Hwi faced Sol, his lips starting to form into a smile. "Babe—"
"I told you to be careful!!" Sol again whimpered, tears still falling.
"W-what? Is it because I—"
"Nevermind!" Sol wiped her tears in a rash way and breathed out to calm herself down. "I-it's actually not your fault." Sol now realized the irrationality of her internal reasoning.
Joon Hwi held back a chuckle and tucked a hair behind his wife's ear.
"Remember April?"
"When we shared a sloppy kiss under the rain?" Joon Hwi tried to lighten the mood by reminding her how they had to walk all the way to the bus stop under the heavy pouring rain, just right after they had their wedding anniversary date at a fine dining restaurant four months ago. It was a funny, but sweet memory.
"No! Before that, when I got diagnosed with PCOS."
"Aah."
It left Sol and Joon Hwi almost hopeless for a child when she was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. But Sol, even before that, was convinced she didn't need to have kids and that she was satisfied with her life with Joon Hwi, content that they'd be that couple with no children. They were already busy with their very time-demanding jobs and Sol— she convinced herself she wouldn't be competent with the whole mothering a child thing. But after knowing her condition, the question, "should I?" turned to "could I?". The condition that would possibly rob her of the choice eventually made her think about how it wouldn't be so bad, because Joon Hwi was there. So after the news of her condition, she decided on one thing.
"A-after that I got off birth control." Joon Hwi nodded and listened to Sol, who was still tearing up a bit, and he also wiped down those tears when he could.
"Then yesterday, when I realized I wasn't on my period yet, I got to read my period calculator and saw that I- I was 16 days late." Sol exhaled for courage.
"Then I bought the pregnancy test." Sol paused and looked at Joon Hwi, and her face looked like she was about to burst again. Her lips were shaking and her eyes were still crystal with tears ready to fall. She was scared.
"You can take it slow, I'll be here. I won't stop listening." Sol released a small smile, tidied her face and tucked in her stray hairs, preparing to tell Joon Hwi more while also now trying to relax herself.
"I didn't know if I should take it though. I mean, everything would change if I was pregnant. But I did wanna know, I wanted to be certain. And it said that I should use my morning pee for it so I waited until morning."
"But you hardly even slept.." Joon Hwi recalls her wife tossing and turning beside him, and then ultimately giving up trying to sleep then went downstairs. He bets on Sol reading up on her cases, which works as an alternative sleeping pill for her.
Ever since she was diagnosed with PCOS, Sol really took effort into having a more healthy lifestyle— like exchanging coffee for matcha, this among other things, and also trying to get some more sleep. So Joon Hwi knew that Sol would definitely try to catch up on sleep.
"I did, a bit." She smiled. "So, after that I took it just earlier. A-and I tested positive." Sol's emotions now returned to her and she closed her eyes, her eyebrows furrowed and tears started to fall again.
"I'm scared." She looked at him. "I don't know if I'm gonna be a good mother. I feel like I should be happy or something, but I'm just really scared." Sol now covered her face with both palms and cried, Joon Hwi pulled her in to embrace her.
"Babe.." He patted her back.
"What if I try my best, and our kid still doesn't love me?" That was it. Sol released another wave of sobs and her body shook against Joon Hwi's embrace.
Sol thought she wasn't ready. Even if it was her choice to get off birth control, she didn't think she would immediately become pregnant. After all, her doctor said it was now almost impossible to be. In her mind, pregnancy would change everything— from how much devotion she has to her work to maybe how her and Joon Hwi's relationship would change, and maybe for the worst. And she didn't like change, her idealistic plans for her future would need to be altered, and she also didn't like how it would most likely change their marriage. She couldn't have that, she couldn't live with a ruined marriage because she didn't want anything to change between Joon Hwi and her, and she also couldn't live with her child possibly having to live through all that. And what if he gets tired of taking care of me? And tons of other doubts and insecurities showered her.
Why does my mind do this? Sol asked herself. Why can't I just be excited? Joon Hwi is the father of this child. I'm sure he's disappointed in me right now.
Joon Hwi pulled away after she calmed down. He wiped her face, again with his already damp shirtsleeves. He placed short kisses on her wet cheeks and cupped her face. "Sol, I believe in you."
Sol melted and her lips turned into a pout, her face still showing fear and uncertainty.
"I'm with you, whatever your decision is. I will be always there for you as I always have. If you arrive to whichever decision, I will give you my opinion but at the end I will always support you. If you don't want to have the baby, I'll still be here. If you want to try and see it through the end, I will be happy and help you every step of the way. I'm your husband Sol-ah. I know you don't trust yourself that much yet, but trust in me. "
Sol put her arms around him and hugged him tight. "I love you Sol. We'll take it slow, step by step. I know you're panicking right now, but there's no rush. We'll do it together. You're never gonna be alone. I'll be there every single step of the way. And I'm sure our kid will love you. You were an amazing older sister to Byeol and you still are, she adores you so I'm sure our kid will, too."
"I love you Joon Hwi. I love you so much. I love you."
"You love me that much?"
Sol pulled away, annoyed. Joon Hwi released a chuckle.
"I love you too."
"You sure I can do it?" Sol asked. "Being a mom? What if I'm going to be too busy for it?"
"We can always ask Byeol to babysit. Or your mom, she has said she already wants a grandchild."
"You always know the solution to things don't you?" Sol rolled her eyes.
"That's why I'm the perfect husband to the ever worrier Eomma Sol."
"Eomma Sol?" Sol raised her voice, taken aback by the sudden nickname.
"And I'm Appa Joon Hwi. " Then Sol bursted out, laughing. Her tears were now drying on her cheeks and she was more relaxed now.
"See? It's cute." I just wanted to see you smile. Joon Hwi thought.
Sol pulled him into a hug again. "You better not regret being a father to our child, Han Joon Hwi-ssi."
Joon Hwi let himself fall into bed, taking down Sol with her. They both laughed and Joon Hwi pulled her into a kiss, tasting the bitterness and sadness of her tears. They made out, feeling at home and Sol, feeling assured and loved by the person in front of her. Joon Hwi kissed her, tasting the ocean, drowning in the one she made.
"I will never regret it. I will fulfill all the promises I made on our wedding day, to be by your side, To support you, to be a loving husband, to be always there to annoy you—" Sol laughed, remembering his one-liner during their exchange of wedding vows. "To always wake and sleep beside you whenever I can, and to never leave your side." They both smiled at each other and Joon Hwi placed a kiss on her forehead. They pull each other close, feeling each other's warmth. And Sol is now close to slumber, fatigued after her nonstop crying.
"I'll be the happiest father to our child. Of course I will, you're the mother, after all."
It’s two in the morning, and after eating ramyeon with Joonhwi that Sol wonders what the fuck they are doing with each other in the space between friends and more.

The fics from these prompts are to be posted on tumblr (at least until the end of the Law School Fic Fest)
A prompt can only be crossed off once you post the fic you have written using that specific prompt on tumblr.
Please remember to post the image of the bingo card with a cross mark on the prompt you have used with its respective accompanying fic.
A prompt that you have already used for a fic and crossed off in the bingo card cannot be used by you again for the another fic in the challenge.
You repeat steps 2 to 7 with the next prompt you wish to write till you achieve a bingo.
To win the challenge, you have to achieve a Bingo. To do so a participant must have to cross off five consecutive boxes on the bingo card either vertically, horizontally, or diagonally.
On achieving a bingo, you have to use the tag #Law School Bingo: Verdict on the final fic.

Very Important: Mature content writers will have tag their fics with appropriate tags like #mature #minors dni #smut. #tw: smut and warnings like spicy content ahead, minors do not interact, mature ratings etc. Keep spicy fics under the cut is the mantra.
If your fics have any triggers that you know of, please tag them appropriately and give warnings, for example: mentions of suicide, domestic violence, sexual assault, blood/injury to name few.
Some notes:
You can continue writing using the card even if you achieve a bingo. The goal is to have fun.
Do not be disheartened if you don’t manage to achieve a bingo. Even if you write one fic using the card, you are very welcome with open arms.
Feel free to post your own fics on ao3 after the fic fest is over.
Even if you wish to use the prompts on the card after the fic fest is over, please feel free to do so.

of course, nothing happened during the party because Sol is too kind for her own good. But the thoughts of maybe, just maybe, if Joon Hwi was her boyfriend, would they not have these overly egoistic fights?? Would she be happier?
And because of these train of thoughts, she becomes conscious of the man, and Joon Hwi's like "What's wrong with Kang Sol?"
Sol's what ifs haunt her and she breaks up with her boyfriend two days after, after two days of thinking about how she, from the goodness of her own heart, doesn't want to stay in the relationship while thinking about being in another.
