So. So far I have loved every single Absolute first volume (haven't read Green Lantern yet for some reason it's in french library only next february aaaaa). But my absolute (eh) fav is Martian Manhunter.

Which is not something I ever expected.

Don't get me wrong, Kal and Wally are still my babies, I love them, I must coddle them. I can't wait for them to meet.

But overall the Absolute Martian Manhunter run is the one that impacted me the most. Huge slap in the face, only good things from premise to art direction to story to characters to vibes. Just peak all over.

Trying to reproduce the vibe of the artstyle was a challenge ngl, big black flats and bright colors aren't exactly my forte, but I love it. So much. I'm happy with it.
