I saw your Whaler AU (I think I'm remembering the name right???) and I was just wondering (if you have them readily available and/or in production or whatever) if you could give us some descriptions or charts (I think that's what they're called???) of what the characters look like? I love how they look and it seems like a fascinating AU! But most of them are kind of half bodied and can't see very well. And I know art takes a lot of time and effort, so ignore this if you need and/or want to.

well I do have some quick references of the most prevalent crew members! (with Stephanie and her stupid dad featured prominently in the center)

When I figured out that a typical sailing ship from this era took a crew of about a minimum 25-30 men, I did write out some short snappy bios of about half of them just for color, so I'd have names to grab hold of if I needed someone doing something. You can pretty much assume that Steph has beef with everyone, since she's fifteen years old and has a chip on her shoulder the size of Greenland. in re conversations that thankfully seem to be occurring only on other sites, i actually love when the fiction i'm reading uses words i don't know and have to look up! admittedly it does not happen often, because i am an adult who read a lot as a kid and has since done what is frankly maybe a bit too much education, but please do casually drop words like phalanstery in your book so i have to look it up and then find myself reading wikipedia pages about 19th century socialist utopianism! please do throw around rare plants and birds whose names i don't know because they're not native/common anywhere i've ever been! then i get to look at pictures of things that i've never seen before!

Hey so your pirate Steph AU is really good and also haunts me in particular because when I was trying to explain the relationship between Steph and Arthur to a friend, I basically said "If they were in a historical AU like knights or pirates or whatever, Arthurs the type of guy who would have made Steph LARP as a boy to get around the sexism of the setting but also would not be a suffragette. Single target feminist type of douchebag"

So coming across this AU where he Literally Does That really knocked me off my ass fhehfhejd. I hope Steph someday achieves her dream of blowing him up <3

duke thomas spends 10+ years getting comics and growth and plot and hes "too new" and people "dont know him well enough". superboy prime gets five minutes of character development and hes suddenly a fan favorite getting shipped with every character under the sun. i hate this fandom.
