Dick Grayson Headcanon

Dick Grayson is color blind. Specifically tritanopia (blue blindness)

How Dick Grayson discovers this:

When describing something in his room, he picks up something and calls it blue. It’s green. Whoever is with him (probably Jason) points out the fact that it’s green, not blue.

Dick is in disbelief, because the item he is holding up looks blue to him. His whole room is covered in blue. Except it’s not. It’s a weird mix of greens and blues that seemingly don’t go together, but everyone put it off as a stylistic choice.

It turns out, after a while of investigation, that Dick chose his Nightwing costume because the blue looked like a darker version of the “blue” on his robin costume (picture comparison below for reference)
