Ill gladly drink my dairy free milk but one thing I do miss about dairy milk is the smell. Dairy free milk just doesn't smell as fresh which I feel is a large part of the appeal of milk

My biggest tip for this anon: SAUCES, SAUCES, SAUCES, there are a lot of dairy-free sauces out there and even just a teaspoon of sauce can add a lot more calories than you might imagine, let alone the 4+ tablespoons most people use when they add sauces. Also, you can snack on hard candies and chips throughout the day to add extra calories! Just don't forget to drink lots of water after meals as well, if you're dehydrated your body can't work at optimal efficiency, and that includes storing calories as fat!
Yes, and although butter only has small amounts of lactose, you can add oil into meals to increase the fat content!
Would you have any advice for someone with lactose intolerance (and a sensitive stomach in general) on gaining weight/eating a lot? A lot of high calorie foods have lactose in them sadly :(
Apologies if this has already been asked!
Yes, you should try over the counter dairy relief pills (generic lactaid)! They're pretty cheap, $12 for 120 at CVS. You take two at the beginning of your meal, and it works by binding to the enzymes that break down dairy into sugar. My partner takes it just for ice cream and he says it works perfectly. Ymmv depending on your severity of lactose intolerance, but it's a good start!!
I did write a fanfic where Rumi and Mira almost fucked, but then Mira had to back out at the last second because she'd had a cocktail with dairy in it earlier that night and her lactose intolerance was exacting its revenge.
my stomach will be so fucked when im old
so my brother is lactose intolerant and he uses this one American brand of vegan cheese and I HATE the smell of it.
like he doesn’t have much of a choice when it comes to what dairy he can eat…but like I just freak tf out every time and have to get a distance from it because it’s so bad T-T
like it makes me wanna die and I don’t even have that strong a sense of smell
I drank whole milk and now my tummy hurts :( but it was chocolate milk so it was yummy :)
The more you know.
