To anyone who happened to be wondering after I posted picture of the flood in my hometown, I am safe. Thankfully the rain has let up (only for a few hours). My house is safe where it is but surrounding us is complete turmoil. A lot of people here have lost their homes today and it's going to take a few days before things clear up and months to fix the damage from the flood. We are very limited on supplies since our roadways in and out of the state have been closed (especially in Columbia) and we weren't prepared for it since it's literally never happened here like this before. Keep South Carolina in your minds as we do our best to recover from this and please remember not to take things for granted because anything can happen any time and take every thing away.

OOC// well I'm certainly having issues right now. All of this is literally only minutes away from my home right now. Thankfully I'm on a small hill but the rain isn't stopping until around Tuesday so I'm not sure what's going to happen. He looked over to Shepard when he noticed her standing there. "You.. Weren't... listening into that... were you? I mean, that's kinda creepy, commander." He commented. "You're always sneaking up behind me in here!" he smiled.

rineshepard Hearing the familiar sound of someone approaching his seat in the cockpit, Joker glanced over his shoulder, seeing Shepard. "Well if it isn't the galaxy's favorite commander. Something I can do for ya? Or did you come to keep me company because you can't get enough of this?" He asked, pointing to himself with both hands.

Besides, with everything always going on, the commander seemed like she needed a little humor every now and then. “Okay, fine. But on a real note, you know I’m pretty awesome and I’ve saved our asses a few with my piloting skills! So technically this whole ship has been a damsel in distress.”

“Oh? Have you told that to EDI?” Joker had certainly saved the Normandy, and its crew, on several occasions. On Therum, Feros, Ilos, the list went on really. “Or are you trying to say you want something shiny to commemorate your knighthood? I’ve told you medals involve shaving and a ceremony.” She grinned at him.

Joker chuckled, rolling his eyes. "Of course I told Edi. I'ts not like I really have anyone to talk to all the time in the cockpit. She's always around." His gaze moved to Shepard. "Medal? Hell no. I know how bad ass I am, I don't need a medal. And forget about shaving. I've been working on this baby for a long time!" He bragged, gesturing to his beard. "Besides, I'd feel naked without it and real men have beards."
