Just worked up the nerve to schedule my first gender affirming care appointment, feel like I’m going to puke but also feeling like I’m on the right path. So if there’s anyone out there who was as scared as I was or putting it off, this is your sign to just do it, no matter how nervous you are. Happy pride y’all!

Here’s a reminder that if your feeling really down or negative today, to eat something because you may just be hungry. I was not feeling good today at all and was dreading work until I scrambled 6 eggs with some chicken for brunch and suddenly I felt a lot better. So you may not be sad, just mega hungry and not feeling it.

Every time I find myself hesitant to be openly queer, which can happen quite a few times in my small country area, I have to remind myself that I should be more open about it simply because of the younger generation who is probably very confused and scared right now.

So here’s a reminder that it’s your turn to be the cool queer adult that some kid’s gonna look at and will hopefully make them feel better themselves in a very awkward time in the world. I don’t know if I would be who I am today without the stories, people and the weird friend group I had in middle school. Happy pride month and to many more!
