Isn’t it funny how predictable a PR fake relationship is? Last year, right after the Oscars, they went to a tennis game and Coachella, doing the absolute most with PDA, there were like 100 videos of it at Coachella alone.

But conveniently, this year at Coachella, they’re practicing social distancing. Even when walking out, they didn’t hold hands, and there were about 10 people between them.

Why the sudden slowdown in PDA? Why are their public outings so low key now? Even their vacation, which was meant to signal to everyone that they were still together after the Oscars and having a good time, was intentionally set on a private beach. It was only publicized through coordinated solo Instagram posts, with every media outlet and gossip account pushing the narrative.

Because they’re preparing for the breakup news. They’re still “together” but not clinging to each other like before. Now what matters is making sure the public knows they were together after the Oscars loss and didn’t break up immediately. This low key pattern will continue, with a few Instagram likes here and there… and then the news will drop.
