He did not need someone's confirmation of their love for him because he FELT it. He EXPERIENCED it. He LIVED it.

His love for Mike, Joyce and Jonathan. The three people who loves him the most and the three people who HE loves the most.

He did all of that by HIMSELF because of his love for OTHERS.

And that really is such a big difference and such a big power move.

also when they placed robin’s monologue innthe back of the miwi flashback?? it changed things entirely.

when robin spoke to will into the tunnels she was talking about her own experience BUT SHE DOESN’T KNOW WILL AND MIKE AND THEIR HISTORY THAT WELL AT ALL. so it’s okay that she assumed that it was a situation like the one eith her and tammy, just a crush.

BUT IT HAS BEEN RECONTEXTUALIZED ENTIRELY THE MOMENT THAT HER WORDS WERE PLACED AS A BACKGROUND TO THE FREAKING MIWI FLASHBACK.

MIKE AND WILL HAVE BEEN IT SINCE THE BEGINNING, FOR ALMOST THEIR ENTIRE LIVES, SO IT’S OBVIOUS THAT IT CAN’T BE COMPARED WITH THE CRUSH ROBIN HAD FOR TAMMY (but again, how would robin know??)
