It’s been a long time since I’ve posted to tumblr. So many things have happened. The most notable and excited being that I had a baby and became a stay at home mom! Yay! It’s been a crazy, wonderful adventure so far. I also just opened up a shop! Not too much going on with it yet but exciting nonetheless. ❤️

Might as well do a round-up 😄 here’s almost everything that’s been on my needles this year!

Completely different colour scheme from last year, and a simpler pattern with chunkier yarn because I'm matching with my dad! We've split the balls of yarn in half :D so we'll be able to see how different the temperature is when I'm away at university!

FINALLY DONE. A late kind-of-joke-gift for my dad (if something that takes this long can still be called a joke-gift lol) I’ve spent a good portion of this year watching Haikyuu!! with him and my brothers and we love it, so this silly idea seemed perfect. There are so many boys but it’s not like I could SEPARATE them!! They’re a TEAM. Asahi gets to be the featured mug because it’s his birthday today!! Sorry Daichi I ran out of steam last night.
As is to be expected, Noya looks the coolest.
Pattern: Improvised! Knitted rectangles with a garter top and bottom, two-tone stockinette in the middle, picked-up and knitted stitches on each side and decreased to a point, then used a crochet hook to add the white detail!
Yarn: Stylecraft Special Chunky - Black, White, Spice
Buttons: Orange star and black heart from ‘Groves’
Some new mitts, knit inside out to help my colorwork stay loose

And now the mistakes! Some were made, because I confused the pattern, some because I did the increase wrong and some, because I followed a pattern that is made for 4dpn and I used magic loop
