I've been playing around with this idea for a few days. People used to think changelings were fairies who switched places with humans. The humans were spirited away and the fairy replacements were mean or deforned in some way. It made me really sad to think that people used to actually believe this. Babies would be born with disabilities and their parents thought they were changelings. So the babies would be poisoned or left somewhere to die. I wanted to write a story about a girl who was born blind and left in the woods to die bc her parents thought she was a changeling. Then actual fairies found her and raised her. Also with this design I wanted to try to draw someone with a different hair type than I'm used to. I really like her
