Okay, this has been driving me crazy for quite some time now.

Every single fucking time I get a new follower, I get really happy and I want to show my love and appreciation for the new follower. So, as any normal tumblr user might do, I head over to their blog and look for an ask link. More often than not, I find myself just not caring long enough to look for the said link. Instead, I got top the address bar and simply add /ask to their URL. DO YOU KNOW HOW FRUSTRATING IT IS TO SEE THAT YOU DO NOT HAVE YOUR ASK TURNED ON? THAT'S JUST ;LZKSDJF;LSDFJKA. First of all, you are cutting off a very convenient and important way of communication. Other blogs cannot simply drop a message in your ask box for little things, like thanking you for following them, idk. Sure, there are other ways of communicating, like fan mail and reblogging. But there are major flaws there. Fan mail can be set to an option where you have to follow them for a certain amount of time before you can send them fan mail. WELL SHIT, I HAVEN'T BEEN FOLLOWING YOU AT ALL. I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW YOUR URL EXISTED UNTIL NOW. WAT DO?

Welcome To The Born This Way Ball, Damn You

Hello. BakaNero here. Tonight I'll rant about this guy:

  Actually, no. Whatever the being known as Lady Gaga is, he/she/it's collected enough mixed reception to make this damn rant useless if I end up talking about her. Besides, I don't want to have to deal with the damn fanbase too. 

And speaking about the damn fanbase, it happens to be my subject/prey for tonight.

You see, as Gaga announced his/her/its concert here in the good ol' PH, moralfags and Gagafags (that's kinda redundant, huh?) sprung up left and right. One such example of a shitstorm that occurred because of this is right here.

Now, the problem was that people were a bit disagreeing. And that was because:

Moralfags: THINK OF THE CHILDREN! ALSO CHURCHES AND ILLUMINATI

Gagafags: ASSHOLES GOTTA LOOSEN UP AND JUST NOT WATCH HER. IT'S NOT LIKE IT'S GONNA BE IN TV OR ANYTHING [Notes: it is, assholes.] SHE'S A RESPECTABLE ARTIST!!! [Note: She's neither.]

Naturally a fan of shitstorms, I tried to get in on the action (bonus points to the guys who can find my name), only to find face-palming hilarity in a certain Osh who called the moralfags racist. Because, you know, religion? :sarcasticnudge:

But I'm not ranting about a single guy. I'm ranting because most of the people who commented there were basically too fucking lazy to read. You see, an argument in Facebook is like a lottery. When there's still a little number of people arguing, it's good; you get to voice your opinions out. You get a chance to win. But if you add more assholes in there, things get bleak. All of them, shit tons of jerks trying to preach and preach, not realizing they're taking away every opportunity for a good idea to be heard, because all the dumb ideas flood the good ones out. It goes on and fucking on, and nobody understands each other but they keep arguing anyway. It goes downhill from there.

But we all know arguing in Facebook is as useful as solar-powered night vision goggles. What's new? Well, the arguments really show what the hell is wrong with the country.

People are either too close-minded, too open-minded or have absolutely no mind.

Filipinos can't be hospitable to their fellow Filipinos but will lick the dirt off a foreigner's boots if they'd be allowed.

Fucking arguing in a Facebook page, that's fucking what.

It was also a bit sad, too think that nobody had the guts to stay inconclusive about all this. It's better than being too damn square or being too damn open about things.
