-The archer smiled upon being spotted, soft and welcoming as she met the woman’s gaze. The other did not appear to be a threat, but she felt drawn to meet with her somehow. Thankfully, the clear night provided a reason to speak.-

“It’s nights like this that really make one sit back and admire the beauty the stars bring. Almost feels like we’re not alone here.”

Not alone...yes.  That is absolutely right.

-A small wish to Aqua, but in reality much greater than she bargained for: another night with her friends under the same canopy of stars.  Knowing what she did now, the Keyblade Master had no regrets of learning the truth.  If only the journey along the way could have played out differently.-

“We’re not alone.  Whatever the context of your statement, I can guarantee you that much.”

-Suddenly Aqua was aware she was not alone.  Then again, the radiance of the stranger’s heart was a dead giveaway.  The light within shined brighter than her own.-

She did just what he’d expected her to do — really, it was the first thing all these Keyblade wielders did whenever they were faced with, well, pretty much anything. They drew their swords, they got that angry look — maybe they were trained to look angry, too. Well, he sure wasn’t going to make that face when he got one of his own, no sirree.

Holding up his hands, his lips stretched in a smirk, golden hues widening in mock surprise, giving an easy lean backwards at his shoulders. "Easy there, Bluebird. Don’t make a fuss over little ol’ me now."

His tone was light, as always — he knew these Keyblade wielders backwards and forwards. As long as you kept talking, they’d keep standing there. He knew he didn’t have much to worry about; he never did, really.

"It’s been so long since we last saw each other. How’s about a hello?"

-All Braig was doing was adding fuel to a fire that had been burning for a long time.  Aqua knew he was simply goading her into talking, and even into a fight, a fight he wanted to win for himself.  The would be Keyblade Master, both by Mark and by trial, knew this better than anyone, that manipulation went a long way when concerning emissaries of Darkness.  However, Braig seemed to overlook one detail.-

-Aqua would not fall for the same trick more than once if the option presented itself.-

"...You want a hello do you?"

-Taking a deep breath, and exhaling in an obvious sigh of irritation, Aqua tossed any hesitation out of the window at that point.  With agility not surprising for someone of her stature and combat experience, the space between herself and Braig had closed, though little did Aqua know Braig had undergone changes of his own as well.  She had wondered at the coat, but it did not play into her thoughts for long.  Stormfall's outer edge was pressed along his neck, the skeleton key pattern facing towards Aqua.-

"...How's this for a hello?"

"What? Someone turn the lights out on ya?"

-Suddenly, and without warning, the raven-haired man would hear the materialization of a Keyblade, in a shaft of light. Further confirmation that this encounter might not be a pleasant one was the voice that followed it, a voice he was certain to recognized.-

"…You."

-Aqua had stumbled upon this area by chance, but she never thought she would ever see Braig again. The last encounter was when Ventus was possessed and the X-blade forged, a plan that would’ve left her dead were it not for the intervention of Mickey, and Ventus himself. Now, Aqua was certain that some sinister force was at work, if Braig was alive and well here. Either way, Stormfall was pointed in his direction incredulously.-

"And just what are you doing here?"
