Karamatsu Doodles

I spent a little time last night and this morning practicing sketching in Photoshop. I decided to use Karamatsu as my model and just sorta played around with poses and various body types (wish I’d made them a little more varied, but ehh…). I did a couple little inflation things and a more chubby-all-over one in the bottom row just for fun. I’m not sure what if anything I’ll do with these doodles. I can use some of them as a base and draw some clothes on them, as you can see in these examples where I put his fox onesie on over the sketch. If anyone’s got something they’d like to see with some of the other doodles, let me know. I might do some more ink and coloring today. Anyway, I thought y’all might be interested in seeing some step by step stuff like this from time to time. I may do some Ichimatsu doodles like this for practice too.

Side note: My digital Karamatsu sketches sorta look like Zachary Quinto as Spock, hahaha! All eyebrows and bowl cuts…

Chubbymatsu Envy

In response to this Ask wondering if Chibita and Atsushi would ever compete to have the chubbiest/cutest ‘Matsu…. I like to imagine that Chibita gets a little distracted when he’s got some one on one time with Karamatsu and would probably be oblivious to everyone else’s presence. (I mean, if I was given the opportunity to stuff that belly I don’t think anyone could pull my attention away, haha). So there might never be any sort of competition between them… But I bet Atsushi couldn’t help but notice that chubby Karamatsu! And Totty would become enraged with jealousy at his sushi man ogling one of his brothers, haha.

I’m still experimenting a bit with my inking so the line art may look a little thicker than usual on this… Hope it looks okay! I also like to headcanon that Totty gains more weight in his hips and butt than Karamatsu so I gave him a big booty. ;) I may not always draw him that way but eh… big booty Totty is a good time. Hope you enjoy it!
