Every inch of Aziraphale’s space seemed to echo her presence — the slightly deflated pillows on the couch that were holding on to Aziraphale’s warmth; the opened books with intricate bookmarks nestled between the pages, suggesting the worlds she travelled when time was languid; the faint scent of Early Grey lingering in the air; the well-worn cardigans, scarves, and blankets perched on different surfaces, counting the times she revealed her layers.
