"You can leave yer post for FIVE minutes; nobody’s gonna loot yer Happy Homes in that time fer’ pete’s sake.”

"But Mr. Resetti! I'm begging you! I really can't lea-- A-ACHOOO!" Digby gives up and lets himself be dragged by the worried mole. When they were in front of the clothing store, he stood up and opened the store's door.

"You should enter first, Mister! Please, I insist!" He said while holding the open door for him.

      “You know, I’ve seen you stand around out here forever now, but I still have no idea what you do.”

"My, my! It's pretty simple! I'm in charge of the Happy Home Showcase, and I'm currently guarding the gate. That's why I'm always standing here. So if you want to enter, you just have to ask me, miss!"

"You can visit the houses of the people that the Mayor or any other villager have met. It's really exciting, if I do say so myself!"

Ai turned her head to the brown dog. She's passed by a couple times but never really spoke to him, Slowly she decided to walk over to him and give a proper introduction. "Hey there~! What's this entrance lead to anyway?"

"Greetings, Mayor! This entrace leads to the Happy Home Showcase! Here, you can visit a copy of the houses owned by the people that you meet in your travels. You can also submit a form for us to build an exact copy of your house, just so these people can visit yours, too!Heh, I've been waiting for you to come here since you signed up with Lyle.My name is Digby, and I'm pleased to finally meet you! Your secretary, Isabelle, is actually my twin sister.She told me a lot about you, she thinks you're one of the best mayor that she's ever seen!" Digby was happily waving his tail as he keep talking, he was really proud of his sister!

"My sister is such a hard worker, isn't she? Of course, I think she needs to take a break sometimes, but she's really stubborn when it comes to that topic! One time, she--- AH! I'm sorry, I'm probably boring you with all of this talk... Excuse me."He cleared his troath. "Would you like to visit the Happy Home Showcase? I'll be your guide if you want to! There are some houses in exhibition right now, so you won't get bored there!" He walked a bit towards his left, and then pointed to the stairs. "So? Would you like me to guide you, Miss Ai?"

"Yes, Digby, the rainjacket is nice and yellow, but for the love of Serena, it CAN’T be warm enough during the winter months. I’ll go to Able’s right NOW and BUY you something warmer myself if you don’t wanna spend the bells.”

Resetti would never admit it, but he IS a dad and he DOES worry about the younger generation when they’re not taking care of themselves.

"Oh! Mr. R-resetti! Y-you don't have to buy anything for me, I-im perfectly f-fine! S-see...?" Digby tried to explain his situation to the cranky mole, failing thanks to the cold weather.

"W-wait... Mr. Resetti, a-are you worried about me?! What a shock! I mean... I don't think that you don't worry about people, because your job consists of worrying about the ones who break the rules. But... worrying for me? Not a lot of people do that! Apart from my sister... She was the one who gave me this rainjacket! That's why I always use it for... a... a... A-CHOOO!" Before he could continue talking, he was interrupted by a loud sneeze. Digby was starting to feel the consequences of his acts...

"...Uh, Mr. Resetti... C-could you please buy me a medicine at the Nook twin's shop? I can't leave... m-my spot here..." Even though he knew he was getting sick, he didn't want to take a break from his job. After all, he seems to be the only one capable of doing it.

Digby couldn't hear what the mayor was saying at all, he was a bit distracted by his work, but as soon as he noticed her, he looked at her, waving happily. "Oh, hello Mayor! We're having a really good weather today, don't you think?" He asked, smiling.

"Is that the reason of why you're here today? You want to admire some houses in our showcase with this sunny weather, right? It would be a pleasure to escort you!"

come on, this is a huge fandom and I know it! I’d love to see roleplaying with Animal Crossing!

"Wait… I’ve never seen you around here before… are you a new resident of our modest town? Or are you a visitor?" Digby asked with curiosity, waving his tail at the same time.

He was standing right behind Digby. For some minute he just stared at the brown dog thinking. He had heard the dog talk to himself and he just stopped his training to hear him out. He thought to himself “Man this bro is so focused on his thoughts he doesn’t even notice me. I should let him know”. He prepare his voice with all the strength he had. He just stood there silent for awhile. Focusing all his energy and then let go a enormous scream that nearly shook the entire main street.

"Bro! What’s up?!!! Heeeyy!"

"...AAAAAAAH--!!" Digby screamed, he obviously wasn't expecting that... Anyway, after the shock he received, he turned around to see who was the loud creature.

"Oh... Hello, Jay! How long have you been there? Uh... If you heard something coming out from my mouth awhile ago... please ignore it!" He was a bit embarassed about his plan, and knowing that someone else heard it was worse.
