Pinned post, introducing myself

My old pinned post was a few years out of date, so it's time for a new one. Hi, I'm Bee.

About me:

I'm non-binary. My pronouns are they/them.

I'm an adult (40+).

I'm a DID (dissociative identity disorder) system. They/them is plural for me in addition to being gender neutral. (Links go to websites explaining for those who are unfamiliar with DID.)

I'm autistic. I'm socially anxious and tend to be awkward when interacting with people, because peopling is complicated.

Ishgard is one of my special interests. I like the rest of the game, too, but Ishgard is where my heart is.

About my blog:

I post ffxiv stuff. If I post anything else, it's tagged with #not ffxiv so you can filter that tag out if you want to.

I try to tag spoilers by expansion name, #heavensward spoilers and such. But I might not always catch them, so consider my posts to be potential spoilers for everything.

I ask that minors not follow or interact with me. It's just easier if I don't have to question if something is appropriate for minors or not every time I post or reblog anything.

You can always feel free to ask where I got any of the mods that you see in my screenshots. I don't mind.

All of my ocs have their own tag, starting with #bumblebee system oc. Then it lists their name and their pronouns.

My reblogs operate mostly on a queue.

About my ocs:

I have two warriors of light, B'Elano and B'Elarra. B'Elarra is a DID system like me. They use glamours to change their appearance depending on who is fronting. We also have a whole bunch of other ocs that would make this post too long and complicated if I tried to explain them. I'll be making posts about each of them and linking to them from here. But it'll take me some time, so check back later.

If anyone needs cheering up, here is latest example of the ridiculousness which permeates my life.

I queued for a Duty Levelling Roulette yesterday and, as is sometimes the case, I was grouped with a francophone team. They greeted me with “bon soir” (good evening) and, endeavouring to be friendly, I attempted to respond with “salut!” (hi).

Sadly, in my rush to get it written quickly enough, I naturally mistyped and confidently responded: “Slut!”

It all got a bit quiet after that.

So my calling as International Goodwill Ambassador is going well…

Something about the Ninth and the Fourth

So I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but. We learned in patch 7.4 or rather, had it reconfirmed confirmed that Living Memory itself is on the Ninth.

Specifically, it is up in the sky, above the levin.

Skip ahead to yesterday. The Miqo elder telling the auri child 'we had no choice but to flee to the skies'

Remember back to Shadowbringers? The first Lightwarden's death and the skies clearing to reveal the night? That's three Shards that the technical damage is engulfing the (for lack of a better setup, might as well use it) majority of the troposphere. Which IRLy, is the zone where all weather takes place. It's a real neat piece of continuity!

Also the aether currents are located in this same region it looks like. So while we have aetherical transfer happening between the First and the Thirteenth, the question is could we repeat this for the Ninth and the Fourth? Levin and Ice are opposites on the elemental wheel, but then the question is if there's enough of the others left...
