The Buoyant Group is excited to announce FLUFF, an interactive pop-up theatre experience for kids and their parents. The free performances will take place June 8 during the Lyndale Open Streets festival.
FLUFF tells the story of an 111-year-old woman named Desdamona who is obsessed with baking a sweet treat called Fluff. She's so enamored that she hasn't left her Fluff shop in 86 years. That is until a lost child interrupts her, asking for help finding her parents. Together, they go on a spectacular journey in a world completely different than the one Desdamona remembers from her childhood.
Directed by Scotty Gunderson, FLUFF was written by former Onion A.V. Club Editor Jason Zabel and The Tangential co-founder Becky Lang.
The show runs approximately 25 minutes and will be staged 4 times throughout the day, beginning at 12pm.
FLUFF is free and would not be possible without the generous support of Minneapolis marketing agency Zeus Jones. Zeus Jones believes actions speak louder than words.

"The bell struck twelve. Lifting up his eyes, Scrooge beheld a solemn Phantom, draped and hooded. 'I am in the presence of the Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come.’ said Scrooge. The Spirit answered not, but pointed onward with its hand."
"There sat a jolly Giant, glorious to see. 'Come in,' exclaimed the Ghost of Christmas Present. 'Come in, and know me better, man.'"
"'I told you these were shadows of the things that have been,' said the Ghost of Christmas Past. 'That they are what they are, do not blame me.'"
"'You will be haunted by Three Spirits,' resumed the Ghost of Jacob Marley. 'I -- I think I’d rather not,' said Scrooge. 'Without their visits,' said the Ghost, 'you cannot hope to shun the path I tread. Expect the first tomorrow, when the bell tolls One.’"
"Oh! But he was a tight-fisted hand at the grind- stone, Scrooge! A squeezing, wrenching, grasping, scraping, clutching, covetous, old sinner!" Happy Holidays from The Buoyant Group!
