I was downtown today, and made a mad dash to catch my bus home. My trench coat was flapping in the wind as I had not buttoned it, and I was aware it looked kind of dramatic. I passed a guy on the street who was playing an uptempo beat on the bongos, and I realized I had unwittingly become a character in a 1970’s detective show. I totally cracked up, and almost missed my bus.
