Hello. Some drama went down a few months back, and I made the choice to step away from the internet for a while. I was not in the best headspace when I left, so it was a tad dramatic, but I do stand by my choice to leave. It gave me the space and time I needed to improve.

First, I want to take accountability for my actions. I said things I shouldn’t have said, and I disrespected boundaries. I made people feel uncomfortable and unsafe.

That being said, I would like to make it clear that I was routinely left in the dark about my actions impact, up until the point it was too much. I have always been open to conversations regarding my behavior, and while they might not have immediately changed it, it did leave an impact and a desire to grow. I never had any intentions to hurt anyone, and I am so genuinely sorry to anyone I hurt.

Moving forwards, I’m going to be sticking to age appropriate spaces and content. I will continue to work on understanding and respecting boundaries.

I ask that the past is left in the past. I made mistakes, but I have grown and learned. I was barely 18 at the time, and I hadn’t even graduated high school. And while I know a few months of therapy and summer break are not going to fix everything, I hope that we can all move forwards.

⚠️ TMA SPOILERS (so axol don't read any further. i see you) ⚠️

bailey was made as a rp oc but she has quickly gone out of control and now is my favorite and i can't stop talking about her

this is bailey crawford!! i'll add more drawings + refs at the end 🙂‍↕️

some important information about her:

she's 26; she's a researcher at the magnus institute; she is on her way to becoming an avatar of the vast; she uses she/her; she is polyamorous and demisexual (i technically made her bi idk she migjt be pan or omni tbh)

she is marked by the vast (obviously), the lonely (significant part of her character arc), the eye (just by way of being a researcher), and will have marks from both the stranger and the desolation by s5. if she lives that long. a lot of her lore is TBD since it depends on how the rps go lol 😭.

other important stuff: she's in a romantic relationship with tim, and her best friend is artifact ( @artifacts-abode ) and they are her only two friends in the world. kinda. technically she's friendly with sasha and others but like. bfr.

her songs: Fable (Gigi Perez), Diving Bell (The Crane Wives), Sister (Sufjan Stevens), and Never Love An Anchor (The Crane Wives). should give you an idea of her character. very strong oceanic vibes and a theme of sisters. wonder where that comes from. surely nothing terrible has happened to her sister. (the sister got Terminal Velocity'd by mike crew because he and bailey dated when she was nineteen)

bad things happen to bailey. this is partly because @thecelestialartistt is a BULLY but also partly because i hate bailey and want to torture her 🙂‍↕️

anyway bad things also happen to tim in our lore and then bad things happen to them together but IT'S OK THEY'RE FINE. TRUST ME. THEY'RE FINE. THEY'RE GONNA BE OK. i am in denial

also she has a black and tan shiba inu named Stardancer (Star)

I dunno I strongly suspect the Fears want to be loved and miss their little guys, like I eat cows but I'd be sad if my favorite cow avoided me or got hurt.

Jonah Magnus didn't serve Terminus, he served the Ceaseless Watcher. If it was JUST about fear, JUST about living forever, he could have challenged a death avatar to a stirring game of cribbage. But the Eye saw the shape of his addiction and Jonah loved feeling SEEN (wild for a guy who had to hide who he was to survive).

Simon Fairchild ADORED the Vast, that man was the whimsical embodiment of his patron. Peter Lukas only wanted to die in the embrace of his deity.

But that's love for you, isn't it? Arguably every bit as horrifying as the Fears, because what wouldn't we do for love?

I’m curious why do you do the rhombus star thingy on ppls forehead? I think it looks very cool btw but I am curious

i'm gonna assume you mean the nose when you say forehead? maybe i'm wrong but that's just how i'm gonna answer it

the short answer: it's a cool highlight and a fun stylistic choice. and drawing it makes me happy

the long answer: it's a good way for me to differentiate between characters' facial features and avoid same-face syndrome. i try to do different shapes and distinct features on every character (tim has smaller & thinner eyes, jon has thin upper lashes and a straight nose, sasha has full lips and thin brows, daisy's nostrils are upturned, etc etc etc etc). it doesn't always work, though, because i'm bad at consistency 😭 so that's one thing that's very easy for me to keep consistent across characters

it also helps convey the shape of the nose bridge, especially with drawings that are directly facing the "camera." you can clearly tell that tim's nose is very flat, partly because of the way that i sketched it, but also because the highlight is very wide.

same story on bailey. her nose has a much clearer shape, even though i barely drew the bridge at all.

other examples on alice and sasha (because i like these drawings)

so yeah. it's mostly because it's fun and it makes my style more distinct, but also, it does have an actual purpose kinda. 🙂‍↕️. hope this answered your question, and thanks for the ask!
