Can I have a tarot reading? I'm looking for guidance for the upcoming school year. Thank you so much! Light and love to you 🌱💖
Hello! Before I get writing I wanted to thank you for your patience. :) Its much appreciated. In other news, your card...
The card I was drawn to during your reading was the page of wands. Generally speaking, this card represents enthusiasm, new beginnings, discovery, and positive change. With this card in mind, I encourage you to get yourself out there and try new things! Be it new classes, clubs, sports, or hobbies, now is the time! You may not have a solid plan as to what you will be doing, but know that if you possess the passion and enthusiasm for them, success is sure to follow closely behind. This card also suggests someone new entering your life, offering a change of perspective and sparking positive change. Overall, this card had a very positive vibe to it and I think it’s quite fitting for the new school year. :) Take this as a sign of new and exciting things to come and enter this year with positivity and enthusiasm. Wishing you good grades and easy finals 💕 A parting word of advice: consider blessing your school supplies and writing some sigils into your notebooks! Every little bit helps, hm?
Hey so I'm not really new to everything I just haven't worked on anything lately and I keep reading on your blog to start a Book of shadows. But I have no idea how to start it. Should there be certain things in the front the Wicca reed? A witches calendar? I just need a little help starting it. Could you help me?
Before I say anything I would like to disclose that I am not a Wiccan and I am, unfortunately, in no place to be telling you anything in regards to it as I simply don’t know. That aside, I think the things you mentioned would absolutely have their place in your book of shadows. A BoS will generally include rules to live and work by, holy days, solstices, symbols (ex. runes), correspondences (ex. moon phases, days of the week), spells, recipes, chants, prayers, songs, notes about dreams, etc. Every time I start I new one I like to have a little “starter” on the inside cover along the lines of “This is the book of shadows belonging to {name} begun this day, {date}”. Of course, remember to cleanse and consecrate before starting! Wishing you all the best on your magical journey, anon. 🔮 Remember to keep asking questions and never stop learning! :)
Hello, I've been looking into all religions and honestly Wicca / pagan is the one that I most relate to. I'm completely new so do you have any advice or any recommendations for books or anything! I'd love the help!
Hello! When I just started I chose to put together my grimoire first and I usually recommend others start there too. It doesn’t have to be anything special and you can write it anywhere, but its a great way to start “documenting” your craft and putting together all that important information like herb uses, rune meanings, or whatever else you might want to refer to later. I remember my first one was written inside an old sketch book. :) Another good place to start is by researching and finding the gods/goddesses/spirits/ancestors/etc. that you’d like to worship or follow, IF you’d like to worship or follow. You don’t have to do any of that but that’s one of the things I did when I started that helped me a lot. Hope I’ve helped! Have a blessed and beautiful day ❤️
Hi there! I just wanted to say that your blog has helped me so much! I was wondering if you had any tips for astral projection. I feel that hedge witchcraft is my path, but I'm not quite sure where to start. I hope you have a lovely day! Thank you!
Hello, love! Astral projection is something I have yet to personally explore but I think we could take advantage of this situation to learn a little something together. :) Here are some links I found to help us

Regarding your path, I feel that a grimoire is a good starting place. When I started mine I used an old sketch book. :) I would write about correspondences, runes, moon phases, try my hand at spell writing, and so on. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy; just something to “document” your craft with. Hope I’ve been able to help! Wishing a blessed day and many more to follow ❤︎
THIS HAS BEEN A PSA.
death witch self-care tips 🖤
- keeping obsidian, a small skull amulet, a pendulum, or smokey quartz with you to squeeze when a confidence boost is needed
- gently reminding yourself to really live in the moment, as our time here is so short
- burning a black candle when you feel the need to “power up” your energies
- beginning each day with a positive reminder: “i shall continue to make my strongest mark on the world, to the best of my abilities, during my period on this Earth"
- taking a “spirit bath” filled with salt + a black bath bomb, cleansing yourself of negative energies
Witch Tip🕯️
Put a protection charm or sigils in your pets favorite place! Whenever they go there, the charm will recharge your spell. If you can’t think of a favorite place try drawing sigils on their food bowl or even sewing sigils onto their bed.
Witch Tip🕯️
Place sachets of dried rosemary around your house for protection. They also happen to smell quite lovely, so I see it as a win win. :)
You have a beautiful blog, I'm so glad I found you 😊
Awww thank you! I’m glad lovely people like yourself are enjoying it ❤︎
Witch Tip🕯️
Give loved ones sprigs of mint to carry with them during travel. It will keep them safe and make their trip as smooth as possible ❤︎
Witch Tip🕯️
Keep a hematite in each room of your home to absorb negative energy
Witch Tip🕯️
Draw grounding sigils in the soles of your shoes, bottoms of your feet, etc. Every step you take will charge the sigil. Bonus points if you draw your sigils on your feet and enjoy a barefoot walk outdoors. ❤︎
Witch Tip🕯️
Walnuts are said to draw luck and prosperity. Walnut shells are also a lovely way to safely perform burial spells! Unlike a jar, the walnut shell will degrade with time and go back to the earth.
Hi! I was raised Christian and I've never been very religious. I want to be a spiritually connected person but I don't think that's the right path for me. I've been trying to research several religions and spiritual practices, so as ignorant as I feel for asking this, can you help me understand what it means to be a witch and how you got started?
Sorry for the late response! If it still matters, I came from a very similar background to yours. My parents had always been on the religious side and for some time they even took me to church with them. In the end, it just wasn’t my cup of tea. During my religious exploration I found witchcraft. I liked the flexibility and the awareness of and connection to nature and “the beyond”, if you will. While everybody has their own flavor of witchcraft and their own personal path, I would have to say that for me being a witch means connecting to and understanding the earth and all the spirits that inhabit this world and the next. I appreciate your curiosity :) Wishing you all the best on your journey and hoping you find your thing, whatever that may be.
