maggie sat waiting for her friend to get released and smiled when she heard the familiar voice. “something like that” she said with a small smile before getting up and pulling her into a hug. the girl noticed the busted lip and frowned slightly. “are you okay?” maggie asked before pulling away and looking at rian.
“I’m fine, really,” Rian spoke, itching to get the hell out of here. She was in this situation one too many times and it was always over a stupid reason. It had been well over three days since she had showered and slept in her own bed, so she was ready to just go home. “I take it you were able to get the bail money for me just fine?” the dancer asked.
INCOMING PHONE CALL: OMARI
𝐎𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐈: oh shit , you're actually the last person i would expect this from .
𝐎𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐈: but yeah . i'm heading out now . . then i have to ask at least one question . sorry , don't hate me !

although maggie was still feeling under the weather and had the killer headache when she received the phone call from rian, she couldn’t not go. the girl took some more medicine and grabbed her things before heading out to her car. from the call, she could tell that rian didn’t want to talk about why she was in jail and maggie knew not to push it. she was just going to go and help her friend out. it didn’t take her long until she arrived at the police station. maggie walked into the police station and straight to the counter and started speaking to the clerk. since she was bailing her out, there was paperwork to be filled out. maggie tried to do this a quick as possible before swiping her car and paying the fee. the girl then sat down and waited for rian to be released. @thecharlestonrian
This wasn’t the first and probably wouldn’t be the last time that Rian spent the night (or three) in a jail cell. It was a complete bullshit reason why she even got arrested anyways. Long story short, she was working a late shift at the club and got into a fight with one of the new girls. She usually didn’t mind any of the new hires, but there was always a few of them that came along that just got under her skin and thought they were nothing but hot shit.
Making her way out of her cell, her hair was extremely disheveled and she had a nice little shiner and busted lip. “Well well, are you here to break me free or what?” she joked, relieved to finally see a familiar face.

Landon nodded at her and brought his leg up, resting his ankle atop of his other knee and relaxing back into the seat he was in. “New to the club or new to Charleston?” He didn’t care. This was just to kill time and try not to think about what a train wreck his life felt like lately. “Do you like the job?” He hated small talk more than just about anything else in his life and usually the dancers here didn’t bother with it, simply trying to make some money and then move on to the next.
“New to the job, I’ve been here my whole life,” she admitted. Her time in Charleston so far has had it’s ups and downs to say the least, but things were actually starting to look up for her family for a change. With this new job of hers came much more opportunities to actually dig herself out of the huge financial storm they were in. “I don’t mind it, it’s pretty good. The money is nice and they take care of me here, so I don’t really complain much. It’s a hell of a lot better than some of the other gigs I’ve had.”
