Carmine Properties has been managing historic and contemporary residences for over two decades. Known for their attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the charm of the city’s architecture, they oversee The Cherrywood with a careful balance of community and discretion. Residents can expect well kept apartments, prompt maintenance and occasional notices about building updates or events— always with the goal of keeping the brownstones welcoming, comfortable and secure.

Carmine Properties takes a hands off approach to resident life, but their presence is felt. Notices appear in the bulletin but no one is seen putting them up, maintenance requests are always prompt but maintenance workers seem to show up when the tenants are busy, and occasionally a property manager will drop by— sometimes leaving more questions than answers.

Rumor has it they know more about the building’s residents than they let on..

Q: Who can join The Cherrywood?

A: Only invited residents or approved applicants may join. This ensures the community stays close-knit and manageable.

Q: Can I play multiple characters?

A: Each resident may have 3 primary characters that are either oc’s or self inserts. Secondary (canon) characters are assigned first come first serve and must be approved by management and should not disrupt ongoing storylines.

Q: Where should I start RPing?

A: Begin in designated the sandbox channels! From there, you can post in the claim channel to let others sign up for your starter scene.

Q: Are there rules for NSFW or sensitive content?

A: Yes. All NSFW or triggering scenes must have explicit consent from everyone involved and be tagged appropriately. Safety and comfort of residents are a priority.

Q: What counts as active participation?

A: Residents are expected to post at least two to three times a week. Regular interaction helps maintain community engagement and keeps storylines moving. We do have any inactivity policy, you can read more about it in the server.

Q: How do events work?

A: Events are announced in the bulletin board and may take place in shared spaces! Participation is encouraged but optional!

Q: Can I RP outside my apartment?

A: Absolutely! Think of this premise as a mini neighborhood within Boston. It provides closeness and community but by no means are you restricted to just one spot!

Q: What should I do if there’s a problem with another resident?

A: Report any concerns or conflicts to management or moderators. We aim to keep The Cherrywood safe, drama free and welcoming.
