“Agnostic Love and Vengeance”

Do you remember genesis;

When god promised:

Eating the fruit of good and evil,

From the tree of knowledge,

Would make Eve and Adam die?

Well then,

I must be the serpent;

Because I am telling you all,

Obviously:

¡God lied!

Here we are:

After the fall,

Within the infinite,

In love with life;

Through space and time,

We embody the divine -

Into the human spirit!

Can you feel the soul?

If not;

Then I’ll make you hear it!

One within the one,

The whole is my home;

Is where my heart is;

In love with flesh and bones,

Like all I’ve ever known -

Is the feeling of consciousness -

I grew up with in this apocalypse;

Understanding the godless logic,

Of being human,

And loving honest;

Over the moments;

Over again,

And still standing on top of this,

Loving all of us,

Like this was all we could do:

Not to lose our own conscience.

When we were all of us,

When I was young,

I thought we could be astronauts -

Living on different rocks,

With talking bugs,

And intelligent robots;

All while knowing our own -

Rights from wrongs…

But when I grew older:

I saw we were all a little lost,

And needed to find our words first.

I never believed in paradoxes,

So then I found -

The secrets of the universe,

And I wrote them down,

In these sacred verses:

We are the ancient cosmos,

Alive as the world.

We are life made of symbols,

Controlled with words.

We are the infinite order,

In a finite form;

Choosing and making meaning -

To move forward -

Through space and time;

As we are in the order of everything:

Life is in the infinite,

And so the infinite is in life.

We are with everything,

And everything is with we -

The people.

We decide what what we will be,

And become.

We choose love,

For better or for worse,

So we must love;

With no limits to how we define the word;

We must love.

Be.

Live.

Become.

Love,

As life,

As the world,

As the universe,

As the infinite,

“I Do Impossible Things With Words”

Impossible…

I can’t handle “impossible”.

So I summon devilish linguistics,

And imp paws obliterate -

Impossible as a concept!

I told you before:

I can rhyme orange -

With more enjambment,

Neosporin gel -

And war In Jerusalem,

With more angelic -

Dinosaur engines,

For ingenious purposes;

Until I’m purple in the face,

Per pill you take.

I play perplexing games,

With paper planes,

In dangerous ways again,

With insane jurisdiction,

Wary like a dictionary,

With the diction where we -

Define terms to be -

What I describe and conceive:

Far out like a cassowary,

A flightless bird you see.

So I Ping Gwen,

And tell her:

I got a pebble,

Like a penguin.

Like I’m asking:

Will you marry me?

I’m in love again.

Always human,

So I’m very free;

How I pencil verse -

In silver streaks;

Asking questions -

In a circle,

And making answer claims;

“The Sound Burned Into My Eyes”

Please help!

I hear it beating.

This heart is broken -

Into pieces,

Upon the floor, beneath of me;

Underneath -

The boards dreaming;

Humanity is bleeding!

I can hear us screaming,

The ghost in the machine:

Raging,

And seething -

The fire, that is sweeping -

Far beyond reason or rhyme;

Why our children are weeping -

With broken in minds,

Burned up bodies,

Smoking into the sky;

While ash and soot rains,

And infants fall silent!

Unable to cry -

At the innocence taken,

In the ignorance of life,

In love with its own being;

Like Narcissus again,

Here with his lies.

Can you hear the Echoes,

Of all of those, who have died?

I can!

The sound is burned!

It is burned into my eyes!

I cannot see anymore,

Except for fires inside!

The fires at night;

When I dream,

It is nightmares that I ride -

Into apocalypse,

I dreamed that the earth got too close to the sun,

And nobody cared.

As the sun grew bigger and smaller;

As we got hotter and colder;

As the sky became bright,

And then dimmed;

As the moon fell out of the day,

Consumed by the sun;

As my body lost its weight,

And the sun tried to pull me away;

The land burst into flames;

As I watched everyone,

And everything,

Ablaze.

Then I was awake;

In the dim dawn of laying in my bed,

And the beams of the sun’s rays,

Dancing on my head;

So I did something,

And wrote again:

One empty

One came down from the mountains in myth

The other Nietzsche went mad in the streets to death

The one says purpose is absent

And the other makes the abyss stare back again

One is Nietzsche the nihilist

The other is Nietzsche the poet

Which is which

Either is either

One more thought though

Before dancing off into the aether

To believe anti-idealism is worth expressing

Is idealistic in itself

It is anti-idealism becomes the ideal

So like Zarathustra to the people

Let me proclaim this

The will to power

Is the will to love

And Nietzsche was an idealist

People do great things

Because they love something

To live in comfort and ease

Collide here

The philosopher met a woman

With a tattoo of Alice

In wonderland

Standing in the mirror

With a white rose dripping

Red like theatre

And so the philosopher spoke

Of the absurd to her

And asked if she

Was a galactic hitchhiker

And gestured to the book

To which the girl

Pulled up a leg

To reveal

A tattoo

Of a pot of petunias

A philosopher walks into a bar

And she says to the bartender

“Give me anything

To make me feel better”

And the bartender says

“Well what do you drink?”

And so the philosopher says

“I will have a whiskey on the rocks

Without ice”

And the bartender asks

“So you want it straight?”

And the philosopher replies

“No

I do not care about gender roles tonight”

And the bartender rolls his eyes

“What whiskey would you like?”

And the philosopher answers

“Whatever you can find”

And at this point

The bartender

Quite fed up with the philosopher’s esoteric bullshit

Retorts to her

“Tell me what to pour

Or get the fuck out of my bar”

To which the startled philosopher says

“I’ll take a shot of Jack

But before you get that

If I could ask

How many pennies

Is it appropriate for me

To tip you in cash?”

Needless to say

The philosopher was fed a knuckle sandwich
