My heart hurts to see this rpg come to a close. I can’t help but feel that part of this is my fault. I got so consumed with my own personal life that I feel like I abandoned my characters. Thea, especially, has grown to be a part of me. She has been my favorite character that I have ever played. I feel like with this rp closing, I’m losing that part of myself. I don’t want to let her go, but I understand that all good things must come to an end. I want to thank the admin especially for creating such a warm and welcoming environment. This has been, by far, the best rpg I have ever been in. Whatever this new rpg they have brewing up, I’m looking forward to it.

Jason, now very pissed off, began walking away from her dorm and towards Kori’s room. However, after he had only managed to go a few feet, Thea called after him. He was a little surprised. Maybe she did care, otherwise she wouldn’t be asking. Although he was mad, he had to calm down. Roy still wanted Thea there, even if Jason wasn’t the happiest with her right now. He had stopped in his tracks, but he still didn’t turn around to face her. Not for a moment, at least. Finally, he looked over his shoulder at her. He motioned his head forward, insinuating that she follow him. “I show you,” he mumbled.

Deciding to mute any of her usual snark remarks, Thea followed after Jason in silence. Her heart raced as they continued down the hallway. It had been forever since she had seen Roy, as well as Jason. She figured they had just ditched the school to leave everyone and find their own fun, it was a common occurrence around NOVUS. It was turning out to be that the reason for their disappearance was worse than anything Thea could imagine.

Upon hearing Thea’s reaction, Jason felt something inside of him shift. He had been calm, but now? Now he was upset. “You serious?” he asked, an angered chuckle managing to escape. “I came here, to your dorm in the middle of the damn night, saying that something bad happened to Roy.. and that’s your reaction? You know what, Thea? I should have known!” As he began to raise his voice, he shook his head and tried to recompose himself. “Just once… Just this one time I expected you to be a little concerned, alright? I don’t know what sort of guy you think I am– or better yet, what sort of guy you think Roy is, but he wouldn’t have just ran off like that if something wasn’t up. He has a drug addiction, okay? I’m supposed to be keeping an eye on him right now to ensure that nothing happens and that he’s alright, but I decided to take the time to come and inform you and ask you to see him, because you were the one he wanted to come back to!You were the one he wanted to see and YOU were the one that he thought could help him! I didn’t understand it, but we came back anyways, because I thought maybe he saw something in you that I didn’t..” He took a moment to take deep breaths and he looked down, pinching the bridge of his nose. Then, more calmly, he looked up at her. “Just– whatever.” He dismissively waved his hand and began to turn away. “If you want to be there for him, do it. If not, I don’t care. I’m just too tired for this right now.”

Thea thought she would cherish the moment that her words finally made Jason tick, but of course, he had to ruin her joy. She had planned to stop Jason somewhere in his long speech, but Roy’s name was enough to silence her. She listened without comment. Last time Roy came back, he had some heavy news for her with his lost arm- this was even worse. When Jason finally silenced, Thea thought of a way to reply. After some silence, she called after him, “Where is he?”

Jason’s eyes had fallen to the floor but as soon as he noticed the door begin to open, his gaze immediately flew up to the girl in the doorway. Boy, had it been a long time since he’d seen her. Surprisingly, she didn’t seem as upset as he would have expected. An amused smile began to form on his lips. “Really? That’s all you have to say? No ‘hey, Jason, where have you been? I’ve missed you!’? Nothing?”

He paused and slightly laughed. He had forgotten how he was always able to joke around her because nothing ever seemed to be personal. It was always just a joking (or arguing), love/hate relationship. Then, he remembered why he was here and his smile faded quickly. “Listen, Thea, I have to tell you something.” He momentarily paused as his expression turned stern. “It’s about Roy, and it’s not good..”

Thea was used to people leaving. When she saw heard that Jason left- along with Roy- she knew she couldn’t feel upset. All she could do was just say of course, and wait for the next person to come into Novus then leave again. “I’d say that, but I’m working on lying less.” That was a lie.

The annoyed expression on her face softened at the mention of Roy. She could always open up to him in a way she couldn’t open up to anyone else at the school. Unfortunately, it always felt like whenever they were at their closest, he would just disappear again. “Did he punch someone and break a nail?” She rolled her eyes, trying to keep the true concern out of her voice.

After slamming the door, Jason began making his way down the hallways once again. It felt extremely familiar and like a distant memory all at once which just made it seem.. odd. How many more times was he going to abandon this place thinking he’d never return, just to be forced back on account of not having any other options? Hopefully, that was the last time.

After turning corners and trotting up stairs he had finally managed to arrive at her doorway. He didn’t hesitate beføre knocking on her door, unlike Kori’s. Was it because he was in dire need of her help or because he simply didn’t think about the whole ‘well, shit, it’s late, what if she’s sleeping?’. He wasn’t sure. After he knocked three times, he leaned back on his heels, shoved his hands into the pockets of his black hoodie and waited…. and waited.. and waited? ‘God, what’s taking this girl so long?’

Hearing the knock on the door, Thea assumed it was meant for her roommate. She didn’t have too many visitors herself because she was, as a lot of people like to call her, a bitch. Most of the people she could tolerate would tend to give her a warning before coming over. The only reason she even got the door was because she was planning to go out and get some food to eat.

When she opened the door, she was surprised to find her absent acquaintance waiting for her on the other side. After a pause, she narrowed her eyes at him. Had she spent too much time around her hallucinogen plants. Just in case, she played along by crossing her arms. “What are you doing here?” If it was someone else at the door, the words would work for them too.

So you can imagine their concern if I havn’t worked for 6 months.” She explained. “It’s fine though we’ve worked things out. I just pop back and forth every now and then do a show for a weekend then come back.” she chimed. 

“Alright, I guess that’s fair.” Thea shrugged, leaning back comfortably against her seat. “As long as you don’t leave me here, that’s what matters.” She added half- jokingly. “Any chance I can come to one of your shows sometime?”

Who I ship?

I ship Thea mostly with Roy. I love their relationship and all of the complications behind it since they’re so different from each other. While our Roy is on hiatus (whom I’ve been in contact with and it’ll be a while before he comes back), I have enjoyed having Thea play around. I have found myself shipping Thea with Dante and Mon-el. There’s more, but that’s all I could think of off the top of my head. I also want Thea to make out with Pietro Maximoff because I know that would really piss Wanda off which would be fun
