I myself don't have any regrets, because it's made me the person I am today. I kind of stay clear of that kind of question and I haven't really been asked that as much as others so I guess I'm somewhat lucky in a way.
You and me both. I'm glad you've managed to avoid it, it's truly lucky but also if it comes up you know what to say. No regrets, plus really life is about living it more than regretting it if you ask me.
It’s great to hear that you’ve found someone amazing and are in a good place now, even if the road to get there wasn’t easy. Life has a funny way of leading us to where we’re meant to be. Which, speaking of, who are you with? It’s the same with opportunities—we all have those ‘what if’ moments, but it sounds like you’re in a solid spot in your acting career, and that’s what matters. I appreciate what you said about Margot and me; we’ve definitely had our ups and downs, but coming back together made us stronger. I can't do life without that woman, I swear. It's nice to know that people can see the love we have.
It does, but hey, why change any of it? We grow, we learn and we change and it's all apart of it. Who am I with like - romantically? If that's the ask, it's Florence Pugh. I'll always have a couple 'what ifs' in mind, but I enjoy where I am and I'm pretty sure so does others. Still can't escape hearing about Peaky Blinders and Thomas Shelby now. The movie announcement and soon filming has everyone so hype. You're welcome, I meant every word. It's inspiring and you'll always have quite the amazing story to share. It's great you found the one for you.
Am no saying we gotta go on a double date with our gals sometime, but also... @thecillianmurphys
I hear you loud and clear, so when are we doing this double date thing? I can spare a bit of time still before working.
A chat relationship and never hang? Do y'all not want to or something? Friends from afar doesn't sound too bad though if you ask me.
It's just what we agreed on, though it could change if we're at the same event or something. Maybe we'll chat, have a drink, otherwise, we're fine as friends from afar. We're doing what works for us really.
I do always find it an odd question to ask, because it's like... how do we know that things would have turned out better if we'd changed things? We simply have no clue. It's easier to know what you've got to deal with than just guess. But the little things like... not eating a tuna mayo sandwich that's been left in the sun, not drinking one more pint on a night out - the little things you can wish you hadn't done, but regret is a strong word.
Exactly how I see it and I know the idea things could be different is talked so much that we almost believe we could be entirely different from just not wearing a watch anymore. I think those small things don't matter as much and wishing you didn't can help you for maybe the future. I agree, regret is a strong word.
Like the back of my hand and then some. I'm a firm believer that life puts you on the paths and with the people you're meant to be on and with. So many things could've happened instead of what did, but you'll drive yourself mad trying to think of how your life would be if you did or didn't do something. Being happy with your decisions might not come immediately, but I always think that happiness comes with time. How are you and the lovely lady doing, by the way? I've been practically begging for some sort of double date night, especially now that I'm off set and John's just about wrapped and done in Liverpool.
Now I knew you thought like me, Em. This is surely why we're good friends. I don't really think of such. I mean, I do wish I didn't have a divorce under my belt, but I also have Florence now and I definitely don't regret her so - it had to happen to be with her, so I take it. We're doing well and we'll have to arrange for that, I got a couple projects to work on soon. Getting ready for Peaky Blinders soon, a movie the world seems eager for.
I learnt that sometime's... it's okay to just run away from something rather then face up to your embarrassments; it won't shape your life if you do. & I don't mean anything serious, but my first ever' job' i worked was in a pizza place in nyc, and i couldn't spell something that was being ordered - so i never came back the next day - didn't even stay long enough to get free pizza for life, the only regrettable part. if that answers anything.
I think those first job things really help some of us get molded into who we are as actors. Forever sending the best to child stars though, but I personally think a normal job first is kind of nice. I'm also sad you didn't get to stick around for the free pizza for life. I'd regret that too, especially for the New York pizzas.
You know, I absolutely adore Rebecca Ferguson—she’s been one of the best co-stars I could’ve asked for. But now I’m feeling a bit envious that you two are working on the Peaky Blinders film. So, what does a girl need to do to land a part in the movie? I’d even settle for being a glorified extra who bites the dust in the first scene. / @thecillianmurphys
Rebecca is amazing, and I'm glad to work with her on this film, I know we'll make something great together. I'll see if I can find a way to get you in, even if it's an extra. I think most the cast is set, but I'll try as I feel you're make a nice addition actually.
——- Oh — most definitely. we will, and i enjoy this as it is, truthfully. well, tradition can be over-rated sometimes so why not do our own thing, right ? it works nicely for me as well.
I'm all for the doing your own thing over falling traditions, especially with our friendship here. Whatever works for us. Also here's my super late congrats on things. How's you and the future husband taking things?
——- While i get that entirely as well as the whole — the smallest change can somehow change more than you'll realize — i still have one small regret. just wish i didn't have people force me out as bisexual when i was only a teen. it was a lot to deal with. however — if it teaches people something, i'll definitely feel more at peace with it.
I can imagine how truly traumatic an experience like that could have been for you. However, I'd like to believe it made some think and learn how to treat people - or I hope at least. I'm sure you taught something and might have helped others in ways you never expected too even if it wasn't the way you wanted.
I think people are in need of new cue card questions because that's getting quite old, but they are always good question if you are trying to start a bit of drama, so since you don't regret anything is there anything you wish you had done earlier? i would say learning to stand up for myself from having to live some shitty situations.
I always try not to live with regrets and I believe everything I've done put me where I am and I'm pretty happy with where I am. However, sometimes a bit of drama can be good. I think I wish I could have known what I wanted a bit sooner, though I do also think how that could change me. I'm not sure I fully believe every little choose can change us entirely, but some surely can.
@thecillianmurphys
——- I suppose it is actually and i can't be too bothered about it as i am happily with someone and i'm definitely not against showing that off. i think i heard it in a youtube video or i read it — i can't recall for sure. well look at that, our bond strengthens.
Which is great and we all like to show off when we're happy to a point, don't we? Well, look at you doing things. I appreciate the random facts, Bill. It does, it has and I enjoy that.
——- You're quite the kind soul as well, my sweet cillian. my good old pal from long ago. i agree, honestly. i think it's about taking the right chances and opportunities for sure. just like that — everything happens for a reason saying. i believe it's only a sometimes thing, for sure. i'm glad and i'd really like that.
Thanks for the lovely title, Anya. I feel truly blessed. I think so as well, and never taking anything for granted and all that. It does seem such for a lot of things. Now, I must ask as it's been ages - any life updates, Anya?
