↳ kit.connor✓: First being apart of Heartstopper, all I could think about was doing another job. Sure I'd make connections, but I didn't expect so much more. The first season I learned about myself and my bisexuality. The second I found my partner in my co-star privately, the third we came out publicly together and with the final, as it all comes to an end, figured we should share one more little thing as well. The future of us as Nick & Charlie might be over, but it's just the start of Kit & Joe. oh um — yeah, well, both happened. i gave joe a promise ring a bit ago, but he sorta proposed randomly the day before our movie released so.. why not share a final us update with the movie release at the same time ?

Heard the movie you did releases on Netflix in the next day or two? I've seen a few people talking about it. Isn't it the final thing for the whole storyline? How's it feel to be wrapping it all up and knowing it's coming to a close? @itskitconnor

oh, yeah — the 17th, it came out and yeah, it's the end of the story and an official goodbye to a character that i learned a lot about myself with. a set where i also found some great friends, my current partner and honestly — i think that's what makes it hard to let go but, i'm definitely ready to say goodbye to the role and move on to what's next for me in acting and more adult roles.

Doesn't a pool party sound like the most summer thing right now? I love myself a pool party, and now I am thinking that we need to host one. A big summer bash or something like that. I am in a little bit of a downtime right now myself, just going to events and post press stuff. Should be jumping into a project very soon though.

it does and to be honest.. i'd not hate having one, sounds like a good time and exactly what's needed. yes, we should host one, it could be perfect for everyone ! whenever you'd like to plan such, let me know, i'd make time for such and could use a good party as a break from all the work lately. i've wrapped press for a project that releases a couple days ago and i'm doing a couple projects right now, one including voice acting.

kit.connor: @.billieeilish it for a movie to end a lovely show i did called 'heartstopper', the movie is 'heartstopper forever'. oh yeah, mostly just did press around london, but it was nice. but did watch the movie again finally and i think it gave my partner ideas.🤣

well, um.. by chance you were right, and it wasn't planned but we got engaged the day before the movie was out on netflix, so — i announced it with the end. not too much um i can say what they are for the most part, if you'd like. maybe a basic about but not too much about what's to come.

i wasn't too far off! i'm shocked i'm keeping up with anything these days. it is always a weird feeling isn't it? when we wrap on season two, i'll be going through the same thing. honestly i feel like it'd be super chill and if i can go to work in sweats? sign me up. i will remember that and maybe write down my thoughts!

yeah, i get the same way as i'm never fully keeping up as much as i'd like with my own work alone helping making that a lot harder. it is, i just — i think even though i wanted this over, it's still so hard. i grew up with this character, i learned about who i was on that set with that character so it makes it a lot more special than any other role might ever be for me. i'd be all for working in sweats myself. you're definitely welcome to if that's easier for you.

it's out now, isn't it? i thought i saw that it was. it makes sense that everyone is bringing it up. that is exactly why i'm looking forward to it! plus voice work? so fun to do, i bet. i did see a bit about it, so believe me, i'm going to be waiting for that to come out.

yes, the trailer is out now and the movie will be on friday and it's pretty crazy how close we are to this all being over now. i'll honestly miss it all even if i am ready to say goodbye to nick. it is, i loved the first time i did and the more i do ? i'm just sold for it almost a bit more than acting sometimes. i'll have to come to you for a review when it's out as i'm quite curious on thoughts people will have on it.

Really? I didn't realize you two were together. I'm a bit far behind on you younger folk, but I am thrilled to hear that for you. The chemistry on the show should have been a hint for me, I guess. Are you working on anything at the moment or just taking it easy?

yeah, we actually have been together for a while. got feelings the first season but i was figuring myself out then, so we started dating working on the second season privately and shared publicly when the third season dropped. maybe with the movie could be an engagement announcement now, haha. but thanks and it's fine, not really something i focus on sharing much as well. well yeah, maybe. at the moment on a break from work and doing press for the movie, but i have some projects lined up so i'll be back to work soon.

I'm excited for your new movie to come out. Are you sad that Heartstopper is ending? I remember when Dawson's Creek ended. So many tears, but, thankfully, I'm still friends with all of the cast. We became very close. @itskitconnor

i'm glad to hear that and i am, of course. even if i'm ready to let the role go, all the friends i made on set, i'll miss. all of us working together and all the time we could spend together — it'll really hit that we're about to do that very little now. we'll all stay close and keep up, hang when we can but not as we did.. except me and joe, we're happily stuck together.

That's very true - I'm currently living a moment where this sentiment is true but there are also good things that happen when you do and as a strong lover of lists, there are still parts of my life I need one for - like shopping, or doing things with my kids but I do like the times when I can be carefree and spontaneous and Francois is showing me a lot of things that I didn't know I could or would like so I am having the best time finding all of it out. I like that idea - as a history buff, I could spend all day in the museum or tours but I know not everyone does so I try to keep things loose when it comes to that so as to not bore anyone. We should definitely all hang out - I need to spend time with you two before my heart gets ripped out knowing Heartstopper is over.

it sounds like a fun new change for you, having some sense of order sometimes and also being spontaneous with francois could easily be a great thing. it's something i got used to when me and joe started dating as well, we have a bit more order now due to like work and having to plan things in advance because of it. otherwise, we don't plan much. last time we hung out with a couple friends only plan was seeing a movie all together, the rest was unplanned random fun. i get it, but ever want to go together.. do let me know. could definitely enjoy a museum together, and it's been a bit since we hung out last. we'd definitely make time for you — whenever really. just say the word.
