Ryan and I are probably going to just have to resort to posting videos of the concerts we go to if we procrastinate starting this concert blog any longer.

anyways, lisa hannigan was pretty badass and played 19 different instruments or something ridiculous like that.  unfortunately, her songs are so sleepy!  I almost fell asleep in ryan’s arms standing up. also, the londoner who opened for her, john smith, was really really good as well.

Opening Act

Our ears were still ringing with the reverb from the Goo Goo Dolls great concert as we sat in the car waiting for the stacked parking lot to empty at The Greek Theater in the Los Angeles hills.  To pass the time, we started to rate the concert, but in order to rate it well, we had to set some standards.  Using all the concerts we have been to in recent years, we devised a rating scale we thought summed up everything we thought made for a great concert.

A half an hour later we were on the freeway with a list of our favorites.  Our rating scale is in no way fair or scientific, but it does hit all the points that Ryan and I agree make for an amazing concert.  'People should know about this!' we thought and thus, this blog began.

I hope you'll enjoy hearing about our favorite concerts and even find some new acts to check out when the roll into a town near you.
