# ILYA ROZANOV IS A COMEDIAN
CONNOR STORRIE as ILYA ROZANOV HEATED RIVALRY (2025—)
hollanov + hugs and cuddling
I’m tired, but I want to keep looking at you.
When the Weather is Fine
9/10
Starring: Park Min-young & Seo Kang-joon
“After a series of unfortunate events, Mok Hae-won goes back to Bookhyun Village, in Gangwon Province, where she briefly lived when she was in high school. There, she meets again her former classmate and neighbor, Im Eun-seob. He also came back to Bookhyun after leaving the village for a few years and now owns a bookstore. Together, they heal from their past wounds and eventually fall in love.”
Is this the best of the best kdrama? No. But there was something about this drama that just consumed me. It reminded me of the danish word “hygge”*. The themes are dark in this show but there is a certain warmth, coziness and comfort. It was a slow slow burn but it made sense as you felt the the small town sleepyness in the winter. PMK can do no wrong in my book. I find her always a delight. SKJ surprised me, I knew he was pretty but he was pretty, clumsy, awkward and it was so fun to watch. Will I watch it again from start to finish? No, I don’t think so. It was really dark and heavy but What I loved about this was the love and chemistry between between PMY and SKJ. So pure. So damaged. They both needed each other to grow and come out of their trauma. Also, I cannot rave more about the soundtrack. Sure, there are always iconic songs that come out of a drama (looking at you, descendant of the sun, goblin, and sky castle), but this was different. It wasn’t songs with the lyrics that affected me but it was scenes that had the classical music. I fell deep deep into those scenes.
*Hygge- word for a mood of coziness and comfortable conviviality with feelings of wellness and contentment.
All I Want for Love is You
8 out of 10
Starring: Liu Yu Han and Lu Zhao Hua
Out of the three dramas I would say I like this one the best. Things I liked, A good villain that just constantly attacked to the point where I psychically could not stand her. Nice. Another thing, the lead girl is smart and capable and knew how to take care of herself. On top of that a lead guy that understood that and helped push her to be her best. Also, her daydreaming was adorable and made me realize I think I need to go back to the fantasy world. Showing change in time by changing up hair styles. Thank you. Also the realistic roommate situation. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good supportive girl gang but it was refreshing to see that her friendship didn’t immediately form because they were roommates. Things I didn’t like the ending. WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT? lol It felt so random? Last but not least, the lead’s main existence. She had no dream? Homegirl was able to get into the best medical school because she wanted to be with boy? Gross. I wish she had her own hopes and dreams.
The best of you in my mind

“ A story that follows two childhood friends, a young woman from a broken family and a conceited archer, as they secretly crush on each other. “
Starring: Gala Zhang & Ireine Song
I was expecting the intensity of Skate into Love and I did not get that :/ Honestly, I like a slow burn, and I find both leads adorable but I found this show really boring. I personally was into the side character love story more. AGAIN showing change in time with no physical change really bothers me so I had an issue with that. I also felt like... after college was too old for professional archery/ his issues that he developed? I feel like they should have started this journey earlier in their lives. Then her fear of abandonment would feel less immature and more realistic?
the love equations || 致我们甜甜的小美满 → episode 3
“perhaps, it’s the way that you laughed - so brightly, that you disrupted my initial direction (in life). suddenly, you barged into the space of my heart - my heart stirred, i’ve nowhere to hide.”
→ Gaze 目光 by Xu Ke 徐可, from The Love Equations OST
Love Equation
After the intensity of Ashes of Love I need a lighthearted pallet cleanser.

“ 2020 Chinese drama about two college students who navigate the ups and downs of friendship, university life, and their relationship.
Staring: Gong Jun & Liu Renyu
It was fine. Personally I didn’t get Renyu’s character. I found her personality hard to love. I didn't get the happy go lucky girl they promised. Instead, I felt like she was a spoiled brat so it was kind of a turn off. I like the idea of her loving detective novels and I wish they went into deeper with that plot line. I also liked that their relationship just kind of naturally evolved. The main evil person was evil. I was impressed with how much I hated her. The cons for me is the ending. FIRST, there was no change in style of the characters so, it didn’t physically look like there was growth or time between their split. I wish, Idk, she grew her hair or dyed her hair a different color or something! Second, I wish there was more working together as a couple to be together in the end? Gong Jun (and tbh his mom’s involvement) was borderline problematic and felt manipulative towards the end and the lets get married to show how much I care about us felt.... boring Third. THEY MISSED THEIR OWN GRADUATION AND THAT WAS LAME.
I never expected that in the end,I will be the one getting buried with you.
just pure ♡
When immortals “mutually cultivate” lol
Do you feel happy when you see me dressed like this?

“Hidden away by her mother, the Floral Goddess, the naïve Jinmi is drawn to Xufeng, the Heavenly Emperor's son. Yet forces conspire against them.”
Starring:Yang Zi, Deng Lun, Luo Yunxi
I typically avoid cdramas that are more than 30 episodes because the plot tends to fall apart at the half way point. BUT THIS was so strong all throughout. I did notice a shift in regards to Luo Yunxi’s part being more prominent the second half like they were trying to give him more depth but I didn’t mind it? Too much?( I would also have been okay if they cut his scenes by half.) THE CHEMISTRY THOOOOOOO. Yang Zi is probably one of my favorite actresses and I didn’t know anything about Deng Lun but damn. DAMN. Their human trial could have been a drama itself. Her character’s growth felt real and their love felt so so real. This probably wont be a show I watch again (too intense) but I will watch clips of it every now and again because THE CHEMISTRY THOOOO. I literally had to take a week long break after binging this because emotionally it took me out. I was sad it was over. Could they have shorten the last two episodes...yup but overall it was great and truly an epic. I would very much recommend this to anyone interested in cdrama.
