Tinctures From Wine
I decided to create some tinctures from my teas for when I didn't have time to sit down and have a warm cup. I make tea not just for the process, but for the health benefits so on mornings when I don't have time to make tea and drink it, I can take my tincture instead.
Why red wine? Well it's good for ya (most people) and I didn't have alcohol lol! So a quick research question later, I broke out the wine 🍷.
Now to let it sit and do it's thing!

Antique Store Finds
I was able to go to an antique store and grab a couple items for my craft!
The candle holder is something I wasn't thinking about, but when I saw it, I knew I wanted to have it and could picture using it!
The glass baby milk bottle, the Chinese zodiac metal plate, the sugar spoon, the pottery egg holder, and the wooden trinket holder will be great additions to my already too full work space, but it's okay. I was thinking about using them to hold potions or small things, but I'm thinking about using the wooden one to hold stones that fade in sunlight and the baby bottle for spells that contain oils or liquids.
The spoon is to help scoop herbs, salts etc. The egg holder for herbs that need to be mixed and metal plate for herbs that need to be burned.

Adventure In Black Salt
Black salt is a powerful ingredient for spells from what I understand. I decided to make some to use. There isn't really a standard formula (welcome to the craft 😆), but I guess how much of each thing is up to you depending on the powers of your black salt.
My black salt has:
Ashes - protection
Egg Shells - protection
Black Pepper - protection and banish negativity
Lavender - cleansing and protection
Rosemary - protection and cleansing
Himalayan Pink Sea Salt - cleansing and purification
This is going to be a POWERFUL addition for protect and cleansing in spells, rituals and more!

Family Readings
For the last day of the year, I have my family divination readings.
It felt nice to give them something to look forward to and reassurances for 2025.
I sat down with each of them a went through their cards and then discussed what they meant. It was like having a heart to heart with my family about their hopes, goals and dreams for this year.
It also was what I needed to feel more confident in putting myself out there to provide readings for other people. I love my family and the support they give me to do the things I want to accomplish.

Moon Jar...Oops!
I went and bought some moonstones and labradorite for my moon cycle jars, but did not realize how big they would be!
So the 5 labradorite will represent 5 days before and 5 days after the new moon. Then in reverse, there will be 5 moonstones to represent the 5 days before and the 5 days after the full moon. This might be used for me to judge the amount of moon power there is to work with depending on if it is manifestion, building, releasing, intuitive or charging energy I need.
