12x12
I feel sick from the amount of silent screaming (it’s 2am) I just did. I AM SO GIDDY.
Flashbacks
Bane. Of. My. Existence. Stop showing me Derek, stop playing Jem and Into the Fire, stop ripping my heart out and throwing it back 12 seasons. And when I say stop- I, of course, mean carry on for as long as you like.
Meredith vs Amelia
Looks like it is on the mend. Thanks Katie.
Jolex
They’ll be fine.
Japril
They’ll survive.
Webber
Needs to leave Arizona, the gayest of the gays (must get that gif asap!), to fly. Then needs to stop being so protective of Maggie. She’s an adult. “I know where all my boots are” was a shining example of Kelly McCreary being a comical genius. MaLuca are seriously hot.
OMELIA
This is what it is all about. This is what we have been waiting for. Arise Omelians, ARISE, and praise the fact that Amelia couldn’t find her boot. And that she was in Owen’s trailer. And bed. And had AMAZING sex. (I expect a @superheroshepherdess fic by the way- I don’t give a shit if you don’t write in canon usually. This is special.) AND that Owen was casually called to the scan room, and Amelia opened up to him and vomited her life everywhere- STANDARD- and he pep talked the SHIT OUT OF HER. And she obviously is as good at surgery than her silly dead brother. (I immediately regret those last three words but I’m TOO FUCKING EXCITED TO STOP TYPING AND ERASE ANYTHING!)
Summary
Katie Bryce was as monotone as 1x01, Meredith’s tree trunk resting on her shoulder has decreased to the size of a plank of wood, some other stuff happened, AND THE EPISODE REVOLVES AROUND THE BEAUTY THAT IS OWEN HUNT AND AMELIA SHEPHERD.
You want me to write the sex that led to the grinning & cuddling Omelia/lost boot that opened the show, do ya @greysukay? I could be persuaded…. 😉😘
You need no persuading missy, don’t be a fucking cock tease!
I bet she's already doing it. 😏😏😏
Should I?
I have been asked by no fewer than 4 people to write the Omelia sex that opened the episode.
Tonight.
Right now.
So should I?
In the words of Owen Hunt, why are you even thinking twice about this.
We can’t boil every injury down to one single blow. What hurts us is cumulative. It happens over time. We absorb blow after blow, shock after shock, painful hit after hit. But even then, even if we know exactly how we got here, it doesn’t mean we can fix it. We can’t heal every wound and that’s okay. I have to believe it’s okay. I have to believe that even if something seems like it cannot be fixed, it doesn’t mean it’s broken

Playing Doctor - Part 1
“I just feel like this is bordering on abuse of her power,” Owen said as they rode up the elevator to their apartment.
He and Amelia were just getting home from a long day at the hospital, and it had ended on a sour note.
“I agree, Owen, but what are we supposed to do? She is the Chief of Surgery, plus it’s her clinic. We’re stuck. Besides, it’s just for a couple of days. How bad can it be?” she replied, giving his hand a squeeze.
This is like, one of my favoritest types of fics to read. And it's soooooo well done omg, @superheroshepherdess, this is inspired.
I NEED PART II.

//MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS - HERE IS THE ANSWER TO THE PROBLEM OF FINDING THAT RIGHT WORD!!!!!
I’ve reblogged it before, and I’ll reblog it again
Amen.
and if there’s a reason i’m still alive when everyone who loves me has died, i’m willing to wait for it..
I AM DEAD RIP ME PLEASE I CAN’T EVEN MY LIFE IS GONE
Shopping List
I stupidly just set myself a challenge at 12.10am of writing a little ficlet in 30 minutes, and asked @keverina to prompt me. She didn’t. She tweeted me this instead:
I would read yer shopping list and it would entertain me
So much harder than I thought, 30 mins is not that long…
I’m stood in the bakery section of the food shop, waiting for the fresh, warm loaf to be handed over the counter. I reach to the kind old man serving me and take it, that scent - that wonderfully beautiful scent - hitting my nostrils and filling me with the comforts of home as I place it into the trolley.
“OK, here’s the butter, what’s next?” Owen says to me as he jogs to the trolley and throws it in. “Amelia! I thought we had a half an hour time limit here?! I’m running around from corner to corner of this shop to retreive god knows what items whilst you loving sniff some bread!”
“I’m not sniffing bread, besides, we’ve still got 26 minutes,” I shrug. “And you could do with the workout.”
He gasps and feigns shock, acting like a teenage girl that just got bitch slapped.
“So,” I continue and ignore him, “next we need to get bacon, eggs and olive oil… and… what?! What the hell does that say Owen?”
“Which one?” he asks, frowing and taking the shopping list from my hand.
“Honestly, how do you have such a good outcome on patients when you a) work in trauma and b) have such shit handwriting?”
“It says Cheerios. Are you blind?” he jokes. I roll my eyes, snatch the list back from him and start rolling the trolley to the cereal aisle.
“Well, can you go and get the eggs and bacon then?” I say as I reach the Cheerios, as if it’s the most obvious thing in the world. I’m on my period, it’s not the time to be food shopping, especially with only 22 minutes left and especially not with a tired and cranky Owen.
“No! It’s the other side of the shop! You go!”
“Stop being a child!” I moan.
“Tell you what, I’ll race you, if you can get the eggs and bacon back to the trolley before I get four things on the list, you can go and wait in the car and I’ll do the whole lot, deal?”
“That’s easy!” I triumphantly nod. “Ready?”
“Yep, go!”
I run. I run as fast as my little flat pumps will take me to the opposite side of the store and immediately track down the eggs. It takes me a good couple of minutes to find a non-cracked, full-sized and nicely coloured batch but when I do, I run on to the bacon.
18 minutes left. As soon as I’m met with the options, my mind goes blank. What do we need it for? Do we need smoked? Unsmoked? Streaky? Flavoured? Fuck it, I’ll grab a couple and freeze them…
I’ve wasted too much time… 15 minutes left. I run, confident in believing there was no way he could have found 4 items considering the time it would take to decipher his own handwriting along the way, and almost tasting the sweet victory of strolling back to the car to wait for him to do the tedious food shopping alone.
I look down the cereal aisle and scorn myself for thinking he’d still be there. 14 minutes. Logic Amelia, logic- start at one end of the shop, in the middle of all the aisles, and scan down both sides as you go. I run to the alcohol section at aisle 25 and knowing there was definitely no alcohol on the list, I ignore that one completely and start to run down the middle.
Aisle to my left, chocolate. Aisle to my right, cutlery and crap. No and no.
Aisle to my left, baking products. Aisle to my right, crisps and biscuits. No and no.
Aisle to my left, bread and breakfast items. Aisle to my right, baby and bath products. No and no.
I continue my trail down the shops middle and there is no sign of him. Thinking he must be in the disorganised chaos of the fruit and veg section I start to increase my pace, knowing I’m running out of time. 10 minutes left. He was not going to win this one.
I look over the shop shelves as best I can in hopes of seeing him but he is nowhere. Where the fuck has that carrot-topped moron got to? I’m in no fucking mood to be messed with. I am bleeding from my vagina, I’m cramping all over my back, and my body temperature is unnecessarily high. Out of the corner of my eye, I think I see the back of his head disappearing behind the fridges with the lettuces and I sprint. 8 minutes left.
I catch up to the next aisle, only to see him slinking off to the next aisle on the left. I carry my legs as fast as possible through the racks of CDs, magazines and books before skidding round to the left. I’ve got him, surely I’ve got him.
Nothing.
Nobody in sight.
I have 6 minutes before I have to be leaving this shop and getting home to start the dinner party we have planned, let alone winning this contest.
I calmly walk further on and he casually walks out of the tinned fruit aisle.
“Hey,” he smiles.
“Where’s the trolley?!” I scream.
“Calm down my dear,” he patronisingly says. “It’s just over here, I left it so it was easy for both of us to find, and make it nice and simple for you to win…”
He takes my wrist, my hands full of bacon and eggs, as I scowl holes into his head. I’m a ball of rage right now, he has no idea how dangerously close he is to this fire.
“HERE?!”
He’s taken me to the clothes section, rifled between a thick forest of ladies jackets and dragged the trolley out from amongst them.
“Yeah, see? So obvious. I’m really surprised you didn’t win babe, but don’t worry. I managed to get the rest of the shopping list so we’re done now. You get the eggs and bacon?”
I throw the items from my arms into the trolley and breathe heavily, my lips pierced and my eyes narrowed.
“If those eggs are cracked, you’re the one going to change them.” Wow, he is REALLY pushing his luck today. He’s obviously doing it on purpose.
“Hey, can I see that really well-written shopping list of yours?” I ask.
“Yeah, sure…”
He hands it to me and I shred it in half, and again, and again, until it’s in tiny squares in my fingers.
“Well, what are you going to do with that now? Not the smartest move Amelia.”
I nod for him to go ahead and as he turns his back, I reach between his neck and his collar and pour the small fragments of paper down his shirt. He turns around, shocked and smirking in disbelief.
“Run… now…” he warns. I smile, knowing he’s not going to untuck his shirt and flood the floor with paper due to his polite nature.
“OK, but make sure you pay for all this and I’ll meet you back at the car!” I laugh, running out the shop with 1 minute to spare, proud of my immature and ridiculous nature.
