One of my proudest moments at the thriftshop is when my coworker and boss wanted to make a poem book and asked me to do the illustrations.

It was Published via the thriftstore and for sale there.

My coworker Robert makes beautiful poems. All in Dutch but i will post one anyway :)

In 2018 another piano was donated to the thriftstore. So i upcycled it :)

Because of lockdown in the Netherlands, our thriftshop is closed for customers. We now try to sell things online. Today my job was to make some book stacks to sell :) This is the fantasy and sci-fi stack, World war 2 fiction, and Dutch writers.

I work at the thriftstore for almost 4 years now. When i first started i was shy and reserved, been home for some years because of depression and GAD, but i really turned back into my old self here. Focusing on what i can do, instead of what i can't.

We dont believe in just throwing stuff away. When something comes in the store that can barely be saved, we upcycle it! This chair is one of 4 chairs i upcycled in my first year. Keith Haring style :)
