When you can’t afford new clothes upcycle old ones

Had a pair of my partners old work pants they don’t wear anymore so I hemmed them, took some fabric scraps and made boot cut kinda bell bottoms and also adjusted the waistband.

Much fun and delight

I wanna make an attempt at making some of my own clothes eventually

Another vintage fuel lamp refitted with electric wiring and a flickering bulb. This Heinrich Gillet Edenkoben railway lantern has side panels with red glass that can be revealed by opening the doors. The original tank and wick mechanism were missing, but the rest, including the glass, was intact.

Do any of yall have ideas on upcycling these?

I got these at the thrift and kinda wanna upcycle them! They are kind of narrow for my liking so they will be purely decorative lol

preferably nothing too drastic (ex: cutting them up a lot) due to my lack of motivation lol. I can add stuff of any size tho :3
