Since ulysses parents didnt gaf abt his health amd were just like take this random shit and stfu maybe uma uly was sent in some whatever uma racing school that didnt have the proper training for disabled umas (even worse w my hc of asthma uly) leading uly to never win and give up in running at all

But she has the desire to run and she wants to be on the stage like the other umas and be epic but falls in hopelessness because she has a very high chance of injuring mid race + got bullied by it + and she copes by reading the history of umas and races cuz she's genuinely so into the subject and reading about these past umas and past races make her feel like she's the one in the story

then tracen trainer Sonia appears to reclute umas and goes with uly like "YOU HAVE BEEN BLESSED WITH THE TITLE OF BEING THE CHOSEN ONE TO FULFILL THE PROPHECY!!!!!!"

And then they umapyoi or smth
