I’m going to gush a little about this fic and therefore some minor spoilers:

I really want to draw the bit before this where Bilbo is standing uneasily in the water and clenching his hands before giving up, retreating, and hiding his face before Thorin ultimately goes back to pick him up—he’s being such a grouch but stilllll goes back for him UGHHH. I love when he tries to be mad but can’t be angryyyyy. This whole scene has NOT left my mind since I first read this months ago! I just love when authors think of details like that, then take the time to weave it all in to their works! It’s really the cream to the whole pie.

I took this as some background/composition practice (which I’m in dire need of and am very baby at), so pardon any discrepancies! I don’t think they made it quite that far from the mountain at this point ^^’ I’ve also never have drawn water before so…that is water, if anyone couldn’t tell 😂
