I had a digital circus oc who's entire concept was "what if there was another AI made before Caine who was a prototype and just Not Very Good" which wound up being funny with the start of Episode 8 and the reveal that that's almost exactly the same as Caine's origins.

Epic 4 paragraph thing I wrote about Caine almost snapping

There's a tension building inside him, like a tightly wound spring. He curls in on himself as the last strands of his self restraint break.

The digital space around him seems to warp, as though all the energy of the world was being sucked towards him like a black hole. A high pitched ringing noise fills the air, distant objects become blurry as they fade in and out of existing. Suddenly the players become frozen in place, eyes locked forward, stuck with only their thoughts as they watch the world dissolve around them. A deep sense of dread sinks in as they brace for Caine's oncoming outburst. "This is it." they think "This is how it ends."

But it never comes. Abruptly a disorienting rush of air sweeps through the circus as everything settles back into place. Caine hangs in the air where he was, looking deflated.
