unfortunately, we're going to have to push the opening off until tomorrow, sunday the 20th. cj's dealing with a family emergency that just recently arose and isn't going to be able to be around this evening. we apologize for having to push it off again, but hopefully things will be back into working order tomorrow and we'll be able to have our grand opening!

Nine likes is enough for us! We're just as excited for today's big opening as many of you seem to be, so Lubi and I have decided to let you all have the application code now! We don't have a set time for today's opening just yet-- we're both sifting through some (ridiculously unimportant) "real life" things today, but we're planning to come together sometime towards the evening and open this bad boy up! Keep an eye out for our grand opening announcement sometime this evening, but until then, if you feel inspired, get your fires burning on your apps so you can post them right away and get right to joining in on the fun at The Crooked Kind!

First off, we are SO excited for all of the interest there has been in The Crooked Kind, and we want to say thank you to everyone who has followed and is planning on joining! We can't wait to rp with all of you! Secondly, it turns out we WILL be needing those extra few days for house cleaning purposes on TCK. Things are coming together swimmingly, but there's still quite a few loose ends we need to tie up before we're ready for the big opening! So, unfortunately we won't be opening today, but Lubi and I (CJ) are 100% certain that we'll have everything ready for our grand opening on Saturday, Octber 19th. So keep those face claim reserves coming! And if you've already got ideas in mind for faces you might want to request for your character, you can absolutely send those in, too-- just tell us s/he would be in the "requested" section of the reserves! 

Quick question for all of our followers, though; Lubi and I are wondering if you would like us to post the application code so that you guys can get started working on your apps for Saturdays opening? If so, simply "like" this post and if we get ten or more likes on it, we'll post it for you guys!

any idea when you guys will be opening??

indeed we do! the tentative opening day for the crooked kind is currently thursday, october 17th. we expect to have everything ready to go by then, all the kinks ironed out, however there's always a chance we might need a few extra days for prep work. if that happens, we're going to be sure to have it ready for opening no later than saturday, october 19th!

we've quickly exceeded 10 followers, so as promised, here's the plot for the crooked kind!

seattle has always been a place of great diversity. nestled between the rolling cascade mountains to the east and the chilly shores of the puget sound to the west, this little-big city has become a melting pot for all sorts of people over the years. in the waterfront condos and the top floors of tallest sky-scrapers live the elite, the wealthy and the blessed, unaware of the trials and tribulations of those below them. in neighborhoods scattered throughout the city are the modest working class, the families and young urban professionals who are most often grateful for what they have, though always striving for more. and all throughout the city, finding some semblance of comfort in cramped apartments, red cross shelters, or in the alleys that weave throughout the city are the unfortunate ones, the poor and the downtrodden, the kind that make their living in less-than-respectable ways. the emerald city brings all of these diverse people together into one place, forcing them into one another's lives. some would rather their paths never crossed; others wish they could banish the social stigma all together. though in every class, there are the good, there are the bad, there are the ugly; in every class, there are the righteous kind, and in every class, there are the crooked kind.
