(Parakeet sent this ask but I accidentally deleted it) Steven and Connie, what is your favorite soup?
(A note that I have not given up on TCC, I just have been taking haituses on working on a very long part 2 of Chapter 32)

You know, an interesting tumblr transformation that's happened gradually, and which I've seen no one talk about: ask-culture has essentially dropped off to nothing.
By which I mean, asks used to be WAY more of the tumblr economy. They used to be more common to send, and receive, and see. They were integral to the collaborative, forum-like behavior of old tumblr communities, not even to speak on the HUGE number of ask-blogs that used to exist to only be interacted with in ask-form.
I'm not saying this in a vying-for-attention way but instead in an observational way: I used to get way way more asks in like 2015, even with a fraction of my follower count. I wonder if it's due to the homogenization of social media sites? There's a lot more of this divide between "content creator" and "consumer" instead of just a bunch of peer blogs who would talk to each other. "Asks" aren't really a thing on twitter, are they? And as I understand it, the closest thing to an "ask" on instagram or tiktok would be a creator screenshotting some comment and responding to it in a new reel or video or whatever those content mediums are. Are asks just too tumblr-specific? Is that aspect of the site culture dying out as more and more people converge to using all their social media sites in the same way?
it's probably from assholes making asks a minefield of trolling/harassment for years with no real blocking ability, which turned people off from allowing asks on their blogs so as a whole the site moved away from it
but now that we do have better blocking, we should try to revive it.
Reblog if your ask box is open.

Sometimes you need a little kickstart for your motivation, and I did that by using the poll feature in a way that was entirely intended.

Amethyst's prosecutor theme for the TCC trial! I really like these Ace Attorney pastiches and I'm glad that we also get to use a new motif for this one.
Blue Zircon's theme. I really like it in it's simplicity and energy.
Okay so since Aquamarine is MD in this story, I’m assuming after some major events & some backtracking, she’ll team up with Eyeball to form into Bluebird Azurite to fight Steven one more time & that’ll be the Mew Mew replacement. But that’s just my speculation though.
I am planning out how the specifics of the Mad Mew Mew fight would go in TCC. I hope the result is cool!
If you could make a TCC version of IF, how would you handle it story wise? I thought that would be a cool AU idea!
Just transplanting the roles would not work. It would be hard to do TCC IF, because ultimately there are two levels to what makes IF what it is. The consequences of a universal reset shuffling around the Lost Souls, and the plots that Flowey makes once he realizes this. Neither of them work quite the same way in The Crystal Caverns as opposed to Undertale. The final battle, without saying too much, is significantly different to Undertale's base state, and similarly Rosey will not nearly have the same motives that Flowey does in that fight.
I have thought hard about the kinda shifts I could do similar to IF, but at the end of the day Rosey and Flowey are so different from each other than the resulting story would lack the main villian. Not without major rethinking of the concept.
Figured that, since I revealed I am indeed working on the website, I should probably start posting little progress updates relating to it
I went a BIT out of order in these songs released. But this is another Ace Attorney take. I think it can be useful in other contexts, but I think it fits it's place in the AA takes soundtrack
Another trial track! It's just a nice little AA pastiche.

I was originally going to continue to post the unreleased soundtrack posts in order of when they appear on the playlist. But then I realized I probably should have something better than an Ace Attorney style pastiche for Undertale day. So Fennec's take on Peridot's version of "Alphys"
Spessartine's Defusion Song. I was the one who suggested the glass breaking sound effect, but I love the manic energy Fennec put into this song.
Undertale and Homestuck both generate AUs like crazy... So what if I added space rocks into the mix?
The VERY LAST TCC Remaster up on MSPFA. It's been a long nine months of work, but it's finally done. Now all future releases on this site will just be... Masters! For the record, I intend to keep up the imgur releases as well as the MSPFA for the sake of my reddit audience.
There was generally little editing, but there were some minor background details I wanted to fix up.
A nice calming background track for a somewhat distressing area. It's meant to sound a bit ancient due to the human being it commemorates.
A short little piece to play during the Echo Flower puzzle. I just think it's a sweet and neat little song.

Chapter 31 up on MSPFA. I got to do a bit more animation (see below) so that was fun MINOR EDITS: Added a MUCH more thorough explanation about how Light Blue Soul mode works. I hope that clears up it's core mechanics.
So Amethyst, out of curiosity what was your past experience with some of the previous humans like if possible? Most notably people such as Lars, Sour Cream, etc.
