so, connor has a pretty bad home life ... so, like, what if he ran away ?? lived on the streets, maybe youth shelters every once in a blue moon. stealing, maybe even selling himself for food and, let’s be real here, drugs.
Like Grey, Connor can’t remember laughing this hard in a long, long time. The other boy’s presence is, ironically, bright and colorful in usually gloomy days. He hasn’t experienced such a childish, playful moment of fun like this since he was maybe eight or nine.

“wow, i’m flattered,” connor teases, nudging him back. he’s always been a bit of a geek for ghost stories, true crime, and horror movies, so he was quite excited when casper brought it all up.
sure, it scared him too, although he’d deny it, but with casper, he felt as though he could discuss the things he feared without shame or worry.
