“Could you yell a little less, maybe?”
He hadn’t been planning for this guy to get involved with the ghost he had been going after for about a week or so, now. This always seemed to happen now, maybe Tucker just brought bad luck wherever he seemed to go. Either way, this was making his job a lot harder by having to make sure that this guy didn’t get hurt, either. Whatever. At least the ghost was distracted.
His movements are swift, having done this a million times before. Knife goes into the ghost, there’s a flash of white light, and he’s gone. At this point, Aiden barely reacts to any of it. Instead, he offers out a hand to the guy on the floor.
“See? No big deal. Guy was kind of a fucking idiot.”
He’d never seen this, a ghost attacking someone.
And sure, pouncing on the ghost probably wasn’t the best idea - after all, ghosts weren’t solid. If he could walk right through one, then he could probably fall right through one as well. Plus, if they weren’t solid, the guy was never in any danger, right? But Klaus saw the ghost going right for him, and he didn’t even think, he just jumped. He jumped and fell flat on the floor.
He turned on his back just in time to see something amazing happen. The ghost disappeared. The ghost disappeared, and this guy was acting like it was no big deal.
Klaus took the hand offered to him and hoisted himself back to his feet, wide eyes staring at the guy with surprise and wonder. He wasn’t sure what had just happened, but it was certainly uncharted territory for him.
“You just - he’s... He’s gone.” Klaus stated, blinking. “How?”
