This December 2021, an asteroid (Asteroid 4660 Nereus) about the size of empire state building will enter Earth's orbit.

Just over two months, another massive asteroid (Asteroid 2021 SG) passed is with a distance just half the moon to earth.

Is this something we should worry about? What is happening in our space?

The Girl On The Float

This seems to be an average picture of a girl sitting afloat, but the backstory of it is anything but normal. It was taken in 1961, by one of the crew members of a ship who saw a girl, Terry Jo Dupperault, floating on a collapsing float.

The eleven-year-old girl drifted for four days without water or food, burned by the sun, and severely traumatized until she was found floating on a small white craft. Her hair was blonde because of the bleaching effect of Sun rays, and she was wearing a pale pink shirt.

Here is the image of the Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels, one of Hitler’s most devout underlings and a man who became known for his “homicidal anti-Semitism.”

Goebbels was initially friendly toward the photographer, Eisenstaedt, who was able to capture several photos showing the Nazi politician in a good and cheerful mood. But as soon as Goebbels learned of the Jewish blood flowing through Eisenstaedt’s veins, he suddenly changed and the previously cheerful mood turned into what is now known as the “eyes of hate”

A deadly epidemic that led to a deadly massacre in 1820.

In 1820, a cholera epidemic struck Manila and the nearby areas. The first cholera case was observed along the Pasig River on October 4, that year. Since then, thousands were dead in a matter of hours. Dead bodies were lodged on carts everywhere, and not enough survivors were left to bury them all. What is bizarre was that - some of the death were not even related to cholera; instead, they were the victims of a gruesome murder frenzy.

Despite the efforts of the French to offer medical assistance to the infected, some of the natives still harbor suspicion that these foreigners poisoned the river, which then led to the epidemic. Rumor has it that the French wanted to take over the Philippines, and killing all the Tagalogs was part of the plan. The paranoia escalated on October 9th when hundreds of Filipinos conspired to plunder and massacre all foreigners–except the Spaniards–in Manila, Binondo, Tondo, and Cavite.

In the end, the murder frenzy claimed the lives of about 28 Europeans and several Chinese. The chaos was only pacified when the governor finally appeased the mob.

THE PAN-AM FLIGHT NO. 73 HERO

Neerja Bhanot was the senior flight purser on the Pan Am 747, Empress of the Seas, which was hijacked at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi by four armed men from the Abu Nidal organization.

During a 17-hour hijacking incident, she helped the three-member cockpit crew escape in order to ground the plane so it could not be flown.

Bhanot hid the passports of passengers so the hijackers could not determine passenger nationalities. She also managed to open the emergency door assisting a number of passengers to escape from the plane. As the hijackers opened fire on passengers and crew, Neerja Bhanot lost her life shielding three children from bullets.

The Fake Pandemic of Dr. Lazowski

During World War II, Dr. Eugene Lazowski tricked the Germans by Creating A fake Pandemic in Poland. He knew of a bacterial strain of Proteus — a dead Epidemic Typhus that caused people to test positive for typhus with no ill effects. Lazowski and his co-conspirator, Matulewicz injected many villagers with their fake typhus, telling the flu-stricken patients it was “protein stimulation therapy” for their illness. When they go to the doctor - they will eventually be tested positive for Typhus.

The Nazis assumed there was an outbreak. They were so afraid of the highly contagious diseases because they have no natural immunity from them. So they stayed away and quarantined an area of about 8,000 people including a small number of Jews in hiding — relatively safe for more than two years. They refused to deport them to the Nazi concentration camp where they could have been killed or tortured.

Dr. Lazowski’s fake pandemic has saved the lives of those Jews and Poles. He once said -

“I was not able to fight with a gun or a sword, But I found a way to scare the Germans.”

Terezka ( right, in the picture) grew up in a Nazi concentration camp who was later taken into a home for emotionally disturbed children in Warsaw, in 1948.

One time, the children were assigned to draw “home” on the blackboard. While other kids drew houses, Terezka had a bizarre idea of what home looks like. No one is sure as to what the drawing depicts, but the haunting sadness and the horrors she endured on the camp are clearly visible in the eyes of Terezka.
