Our oracle today is Q’anil. Q’anil translates to “yellowing” or “ripening.” It is about reaching your highest potential. Q’anil brings luck and success with it.

Our tarot cards are still begging us to stop being lazy. Knight of Pentacles Reversed points to disinterest in our goals, lack of action and motivation. Eight of Wands is all about fast action and sudden alignment. The Devil Reversed tells us to stop allowing our fleshy vices to overcome us. For me, that’s resting.

In our first Lenormand reading ever, La Machete is telling us we must cut away the comfort zone that La Casa provides. Two Oracle Combo Reading

I was dreaming of this last night and had a deep urge to do it this morning. I combined my Mayan Oracle deck with my Sacred Mushroom Oracle deck and did a reading with those cards.

I tried to shuffle them as thoroughly as I could.

They looked really pretty together.

1. Integrity: To have integrity is to be whole and true. It is the dance between what we say and what we do. Our actions must reflect our values.

2. You Are the Medicine: all of us contain the qualities needed to heal, love, and lead a joyful life. You can heal and uplift Mother Earth just by being yourself.

3. Lajuj: this has to do with unity and community. Lajuj is stable, cooperative, and community oriented. Engage more deeply with those around you, even if that just means being more present.

4. Ajmak: this energy is about forgiveness and sweetness. Forgiveness is apart of healing.

5. Success: success is not a single destination but a collection of meaningful moments that add up to a celebration of life itself.

Overall, it seems we need to do some healing within ourselves and for those around us. Be a man or woman of your word. Know that you can heal yourself. Be present. Forgive to heal others. And we will have had a success in this healing journey.

In our first tarot pull today, Four of Cups is telling us that we are refusing to acknowledge our authority. Like The Emperor, we have the power to transform chaos into order. This is causing a temporary lapse in you (The Sun Reversed). In Imox, the beginning of time, before the universe, is oftentimes symbolized by a crocodile. In Aztec mythology (and maybe Mayan too, I haven’t gotten that far), a one of the first things the universe created was chaos, which was manifested in the crocodilian monster known as Cipactli. We are suffering from creative blocks. And the Queen of Pentacles Reversed says that we are ungrounded; we need to touch grass.

Our cartomancy message today brings us full circle. Nine of Clubs says we are headed in the right direction. Success is underway. Three of Spades says that there will be an obstacle.
