I know I’ve been a little bit gone and back recently, this was mainly due to a large concept pitch that I was working on constantly, or at least what felt like it. But today is my birthday and I wanted to let you all know that I’ve also been struggling with my anxiety a lot recently. It’s something I’ve dealt with before, but never to this scale. That being said, I’ve decided to put this blog on hold momentarily to get back to feeling like myself. I’ll still be on my other platforms like Instagram and Pinterest from time to time, but I feel that it’s better right now to take a step back from my daily posts on here. I hope you all understand, and I promise that I will be back as soon as possible! I swear to you that this isn’t goodbye, just a pause before I can say hello again! - Barbie xx
Last weekend, I got to go to IMATS London for the second year (2017 was just as awesome, but I definitely didn’t make as much use of the discounts as I did this year). Having gained a bit of a knowledge of how the whole show works, what each of the vendors offers (both products and discounts), I came armed this year with a list of the booths I wanted to visit as well as a few products that I had been waiting for a while (i.e. months) to get on sale (I’m looking at you Better Than Sex mascara). Under the cut is a little round up of all the things I picked up while I was there, plus the total I paid versus what the total would’ve been had they all been bought at full price xx
So if I had bought all of these items at full price from their respective retailers, I would’ve paid right around £332, which makes me cringe internally at the thought. However, (and you’ll already know this if you can do super quick math) I only paid a grand total of £210.89. Cue the celebration confetti! xx
