When you Disney your house for Halloween....
I’m pretty sure this dog is more excited about his favorite movie than I have been about anything in my entire life...
The castle with a rainbow after a Florida shower. - June 5, 2015
Pixar's new film: Coco
Another big panel at D23 was regarding the Dia De Los Muertos film, Coco. The film is directed by Lee Unkrich and produced by Darla Anderson. The last time we saw this power combo was for Toy Story 3. The story is based around the concept of children being able to meet long passed on family members. Following a 12 year old boy named miguel, our adventure is the fantastic journey as the young hero discovers a generational mystery that leads to a spectacular family reunion.
Coco has not been given a release date at this time.

The Good Dinosaur:
Pixar was on hand and blowing minds at this years D23 with their footage of The Good Dinosaur. The film features a Apatosaurus who will be facing down evil in the form of many fierce creatures. Creators were excited to unveil three of the Tyrannosauruses that make up just a few of the trails our hero will undergo.
The Good Dinosaur hits theaters November 25, 2015

More Talking Animals!!!
Zootopia: At D23 guest were treated to a talk from Clark Spencer, the movie's producer. Apparently to research the film, the entire production team was sent to Kenya to study animals in the savanna. Guest were able to enjoy art showing how Disney was able to merge real animal movements and behaviors while still making them anthropomorphic and relatable . After the talk patrons of D23 were able to screen a short clip of the film where it enjoyed the thunderous applause and laughter. Zootopia features Jason Batemen as an anthropomorphic fox who is faced with a crime he did not commit comes into contact with a rabbit police officer portrayed by Ginnifer Goodwin who refuses to give up on bringing him in. The tables are turned however when the two become the center of a conspiracy.

Toy Story 4 is a Go!
Toy Story 4: Many people, myself included, said this movie never needed to be made. That was until I heard its premise. What is the one story we never see flushed out? Woody and Bo Peep. In Toy Story 4 we will see Buzz and Woody return to go on an epic adventure to find the love of Woody's life. This promises to be both a knee slapper and a tearjerker. The movie is set to feature the original cast and have a theatrical debut on June 16, 2017

The World of Pandora Reviled!
Another park to get some love this year was, Disney's Animal Kingdom, where Walt Disney World is putting its Imaginieers to work bringing the world of Pandora to life. Pandora, as made famous by James Cameron's hit film, Avatar, is recognizable by its floating mountains and strange topology and bioluminescent plants and larger than life creatures. The project has been underway for a few years now and it seems that Disney is pulling back the curtain a bit to give us just a little more information.
The addition will feature:
Avatar: Flight of Passage - Guests will relive the thrilling flight scenes from the film where they will soar on a banshee over an imaginative alien world.
Rivers of Light - A show unlike anything ever seen in a Disney park combining live performances, floating lanterns, water screens and swirling animal imagery this attraction will actually be one of the first to open with its scheduled premiere sometime next spring.
Sunset Kilimanjaro Safaris - A new take on an Animal Kingdom Classic. This will extend the hours for the popular ride well into the sunset, allowing guests to see the African savanna illuminated by the setting sun and debuting two new animal attractions: The African Wild Dogs and Hyenas( I just hope they don't start singing, that song is terrifying.)
ALSO PICTURED: New Promotional Posters featuring Pandora available to guest at D-23
Looks like Animal Kingdom is on par to be the coolest night time park at Disney World!

The little we know About “Toy Story Land”
It seems this is the year of change for Disney's Hollywood Studios and while surprisingly enough, we didn't get a new name we did get yet another new addition. Toy Story Land, as it is now being called is just that. A place for guest to experience the world of Buzz and Woody like never before. This new addition will be 11-Acres and will transport "new toys" to Andy's backyard, allowing them to see things from a new perspective. A brand new roller coaster is slated to become part of Hollywood Studios with this attraction, making it just the second one since the park's opening. (first being Aerosmith's Rock and Roller Coaster". Another new attraction will be the Alien Saucers as made famous by the little green men from the trilogy.

Star Wars Land is coming to Hollywood Studios
Star Wars Land, as it is being called by most everyone, was officially confirmed to be coming to both Disneyland Anaheim and Disney Hollywood Studio's Florida. CEO of Walt Disney, Mr. Bob Iger, did not regale us with a date but instead offered the promise that it was coming along with some descriptions of rides and attractions.
“These authentic lands will have two signature attractions, including the ability to take the controls of one of the most recognizable ships in the galaxy, the Millennium Falcon, on a customized secret mission, and an epic Star Wars adventure that puts guests in the middle of a climactic battle.”
As any fan of Disney will tell you, that is a very deliberate way of speaking. "Customized" This has led me to speculate that they will be personalizing the attraction for each guest using new technology. Perhaps Disney will be integrating its "Magic Band" Technology into an attraction that will know guests name along with what they have done in the park that day. There are many features of the Magic Band that have not been used and this could be the breakthrough they are looking for. Who knows. Some of the other attractions that are to be expected are the MOS Eisley Cantina, ( I know the song is in your head now) walk around characters and an overwhelming environment that will transport guest to a galaxy "Far Far away"

Baymax Comes to Kingdom Hearts III
We have not hear a lot about Kingdom Hearts III but the bits we do hear are absolutely phenomenal. Back at E3 we got a good look at a trailer that included footage from the first confirmed new Disney property to become a Kingdom Hearts world, Tangled. This year at D-23, we heard about our next one, San Fransokyo. Fans of Disney animation will immediately recognize this as being related to the smash hit, Big Hero 6. If you have not seen it, get on it! This film is packed with emotion, action and a story that will leave you wanting more. Featuring Baymax and Hiro, the story is a classic light versus darkness theme that will meld with Kingdom Hearts in a way that will be symbiotic and beautiful. The developer stated that this will actually be a continuation of the story we saw in the movie so fans who want to know what happens next will not be disappointed to see Hiro and Baymax duking it out with the Heartless. Now aside from this being an awesome new world and amazing character choices for the game, what other implications does this have for Kingdom Hearts III. Well being that Big Hero 6 is a Marvel property, does this mean we will see more Marvel properties entering the same universe as Sora and King Mickey? Only time will tell, but I would wager to say that this is a serious step in the right direction. Kingdom Hearts III is rumored to hit most major platforms sometime next year.

A new park might be coming, but not where you would think!
Disney has purchased 3 parcels of land located in Anaheim across from the street from Disney California Adventure. The total size of the purchase is 14.7 acres or roughly the size of Disneyland's Downtown Disney. This has lead many to speculate whether this may be an addition to the first theme park Disney created?
I guess we will have to wait and see, What do you think?! What would you want a new addition to be?!
