Erebus tried to keep control. To keep herself from becoming her. Almost every time she comes out, things go wrong. She couldn’t speak out, instead she fired a Focus Blast towards Zabrina, trying to push her farther away. She won’t be good if the fox was to damaged, or worst.
Zabrina was nearly blown away from force of the attack. Erebus ran at her with another Focus Blast on her hand, smiling widely. The vixen fired another Dark Pulse at her, hoping a clean hit would give her time to get away.
The huntress leapt over the attack, seeing as it fires by from under her. Zabrina didn’t stop the barrage, firing Dark Pulse continuously. But each hit nothing but the ground and trees. The alakazam effortlessly jumped away from her strikes.
‘If I can’t hit her’ Zabrina thought, ‘then the best I can do is keep her at bay for Selene to come’

The delphox let out a horrified gasp upon hearing Erebus. How did…Zabrina said that in her mind. She was a dark type, how could she…?
She quickly turned around to strike at her, but she was gone once more. The enemy seemed to have used Teleport to get out of sight. This was a dangerous situation. Not knowing where she was is big trouble!
She gasped, looking around frantically. She was no where to be seen though! She looked to her left, right, front and back. She looked everywhere....everywhere but...
“SURPRISE!!!”
Zabrina cried out in pain, feeling her flesh being cut open. She stumbled forward, fell to her knee, clawing at her back as she felt blood dripping her body. She stumbled forward, hitting the ground with a hard groan. This feeling....she never felt it before. And that attack...no...it couldn’t be!
“Th-that was Psycho Cut! Impossible! The move shouldn’t-“
She began to hear footsteps along the grass. Zabrina forcing her body to move through the sharp pain. She hissed, only able to get onto her knees as she looked back, noticing that third eye along her forehead. It glowed and pulsed out a glow, shining even through the glow of the Psycho Cut blade.
“N-no...it can’t be....Miracle Eye!!” Zabrina stood back to her feet, reaching into her tail to pull out her wand. She could feel it through her body....she was in terrible danger. The look on that woman’s face said it all. Whoever she was...she wasn’t anymore
“Fufufufuf~ Looked like you were having a time with Erebus” the alakazam said, speaking as though she was another person, “But she’s gonna be sitting this one out, cause I want my play time! We’re gonna have sooooo much fun~!”
Whoever this woman was, her abilities did not reflect her odd personality. She was tough, fast, and confident. She was able to dodge her Mythical Fire attacks with ease, not once landing a hit on her. She was just moving, not attempting to make any sort of moves towards her, which only made Zabrina more nervous. What was she planning?
“Wow, your aim really sucks!” Erebus shouted out, “I mean I probably would to if I was that top heavy!”
“H-hey!” Zabrina shouted with a slight blush as she fires another attack, “Instead of running away, why don’t you face me?!”
“Ohohohoho~! Trust me when I say that would be bad for you. But I guess I’m done with my warm-up, think it’s time that I-!”
The alakazam can feel it. This...familiar sensation running through her body, the pounding in her head, the sweat within her palm. She wants to come out.
She wants to play
“HURK!! N....n-no....not now!!”

Selene slowed to a stop at the end of the forest, eyeing the mountainside. She looked around, not noticing any trace of Zabrina. A cold wind blew in the air, her antennae shifting a bit. She had a bad feeling.
“….Better be doing alright Zabrina” she said as she began to trot towards the mountains. The wind picked up, but that wasn’t what was sending shivers down her spine. “…..” Selene huffed as she turned and began to gallop through the forest. “You better be alright fox”

As the energy from the Psycho Cut blade disappeared, the two females just stared to each other in awkward silence. Erebus looked to her hand, then to Zabrina, then back to her hand. She sucked her lips as she began to slowly rise up, Zabrina bringing in energy in her hands.
“Oooooh right....dark type....forgot about that”
Zabrina turned and fireD the Dark Pulse. Erebus was quick to react though, jumping away before the attack could hit. She spun in the air and landed on top of a tree branch. She wiped her brow, taking a deep breath. The attack would’ve done some serious damage.
Although she allowed this psychic type to help, Zabrina was being extra cautious. In fact, she was trying to stall her a bit, in hopes to meet with Selene for any assistance. But thanks to the little slip up on the psychic of all people, she had to stand her ground here. Zabrina looked up to her, eyes wide at the alakazam’s speed.
‘She was able to dodge a close up attack so easily’ Zabrina thought, ‘Her reflexes are incredible...’
“Gotta admit, that was pretty close!” Erebus said with a smile on her face. “You really know your stuff there Nude Fox!”
“Don’t call me that!!” Zabrina shouted, her second Shadow Ball flying to the Alakazam. Erebus jumped off and spun in the air, landing on her feet. The Delphox continued to fire at hunter, who jumped and leapt away from the barrages. “You think I’m just gonna let you capture me?!”
Edan and Kurami sprinted through the forest, trying to catch up to the speedy bug woman. Her size did not detour her speed, as her Speed Boost is shown to be of great effect even in this thicket of wood and leaves.
Pulling out a water shuriken, Kurami throws her attack with all her might, flying through the trees before it collided Selene’s shoulder, causing her to topple over and seemingly have the delta on her back launched within the forest. Wasting no time, the hunters broke away from the bug bodyguard and towards the flying target, until they realized what has happened.
Instead of finding the fox, they had spotted her dress, tangled within the branches as it flowed against the wind. “It was a distraction!” Edan cried out, the duo turning to the Solipede only to find out she had escaped. The rustle in the trees can be heard as she gets more distance from the hunters. Kurami growled and slammed her fist against the tree bark, causing it to shake and rattle.
“Dammit! They used the long dress to hide the fact she was not riding with her!” Kurami shouted. The masked hunter went up to the dress and took it off the branches, clenching it within his hand.
“Always so clever....” he muttered under his breath before he turned to his companion. “We won’t be able to catch up to her, but if we hurry, we can pick up their trail” With that, Edan lets the dress fall to the ground before he walks next to his companion. “No use wasting time here” With a nod from the greninja, they both began to sprint in on the direction where Selene had ran off.
Long distant away, the Scolipede winced at the wound on her left shoulder. She was hoping to get farther than she did, but that greninja was a good shot, even at high speeds. “Got to get back to her fast” she thought to herself.
Back to Zabrina, who was currently walking with the alakazam, Erebus, who seemed to be humming as she was skipping along. The situation that had happened certainly didn’t shook her.
“So what were they after you for?” Erebus asked.
“I...rather not say. It’s personal”
“Personal huh? Kurami does make things personal” The alakazam stopped skipping, Zabrina taking a few steps forward before stopping herself.
“I...was never told of their names” Zabrina said, her heart skipping a beat, “How did…?”

The delphox took a deep breath, remembering details of her past life. “You see, me and my sister were born into slavery. We were tasked to tend the fields, tending to the berries and farming them for the one who…’owned us’.
“Many years later, there was news on the mansion they were being held in. It was invaded by a group of delta revolutionaries and the man was said to be killed in the crossfire. I didn’t know what happened that day, I was scared out of my mind, wondering if my family survived it” Although she spoke about the possible death of her mother and sister, a small smile appeared on her face.
“Haven is one of the very few cities who welcomed deltas better than others. It’s where most of my kind escape to. If my sister was scene near there, that’s the place where my mother will be too!“ Zabrina let out a long sigh, rubbing her arms as she looked up to the sky, staring at the stars.
The alakazam rolled her eyes, “I mean, I might have to even dig them in with my fingers. Wiggling around and feeling the walls to I can get them. As well as make sure not to cut myself while digging in there. And there’s a chance that it might’ve caused a leak and it would be pretty embarrassing cleaning your own gunk off of it.”
The alakazam shrugged. “Meh, they don’t like me stuffing sharp things in the bag anyway. They don’t want it to rip with all our gear inside”
The alakazam rolled her eyes, “I mean, I might have to even dig them in with my fingers. Wiggling around and feeling the walls to I can get them. “Not like the mod will want this plot to stop here anyway!” the alakazam said, ears perking a bit. “You think I’m a bounty hunter? Either you or your own mod don’t know, but me and my team are no bounty hunters. Being a bounty hunter means you have a face to work with, to track and capture. We are more...wranglers. And how dare you think I would ever betray them! I may be out here by myself, but it’s for the good of me and the others!”
Erebus puffed her cheeks out even more. “I’m stuck with these guys sure, but I had started to see them as my only pals the more I work with them. And you think this was my first career choice? This was the only gig where not much info about me is needed. Money doesn’t grow on trees ya know!”
“Both me and Kurami are. We heard his own story, after he decided to open up a bit. Honestly, to go through what he is going through, me of all people thought it was to cruel. We’re just helping him get to his dream a little faster”
