Heya. Th'name's Urian. You may know me with a different face, but I assure you-- it's me. I've had a few... changes in my life, but I remain the same. You have things needing done? Maybe some one knock off, an item needing secured? If you've got the means...

It took a moment begore urian fully responder, holding the other tight to himself. “Hmm, no.” He sighed, happily settling in with the other. He smirked and placed a bruef kiss to Abraham’s nape. “Definitely could be worse.”

He couldn’t help but to hum at the kiss. 

“TV sucks now. There’s the radio though. Music, a couple beers and a quiet evening?”

Abraham couldn’t help but to make the offer. He knew what kind of work Urian did and knew perfectly well that quiet evenings were not part of that. He had decided while waiting to hear from him again, that… perhaps… this is what this place should be for the demon. A chance to breath and calm down. To be normal. God knew he wasn’t exactly normal or innocent himself, being a vampire and all. But they could both use the chance to make a go of it once in a while, if for no other reason that to remind themselves that there was more to all of this than killing.

Urian gave the other an amused look. "Hell, you're old." He teased. "Radio??" It was all in loving jest; after all, he was older! But, in actuality,  the idea of a night, just them and some music and... yeah, it was all a perfect idea. The demon hummed in thought, nodding his approval. "Actually, that sounds like a fairy tale." He admitted in a soft sigh, his fingers playing along the vampire's back slowly.

It was a dark and terrible night. It was darker than normal, despite the half moon slipping in and out of the clouds. The shadows clung to the edges of light as if the light itself shed darkness. Eerier yet, the light in the front of the house flickered off, and the light in the front of the house was constantly flickering for a solid thirty seconds before finally turning off.

After five deconds, the door bell rang.

A sigh escaped the demon as he looked up as the door opened. A smirk appeared on his face.

“Hey.”

Abraham grinned and couldn’t help but to step forward and hug his friend before stepping aside to let him in.

“Hello again. Come in. Coffee? Beer? You know I’ve been standing here waiting for you to ring before I opened the door. With you making an enterance and all… is everything okay?”

Urian laughed softly, grin growing as he wrapped his arms around Abraham, holding him close and tight for a moment, not allowing him to pull away for a moment. As abraham pulled away he did enter the house, chuckling a little. “I didnt mean to do it, actually. Nothing wrong.” He chuckled softly, shrugging. “I only got here a second or two before ringing the bell.” The demon paused and smirked. “All okay with you?”

“Yeah. Got a cat. But other than that it’s been quiet. Even work has been dull. Just updating or writing people wills and the occasional DUI or speeding ticket case.

“There was a magician-vampire at Eden. Summoned some little goblin like imps but mostly made cherry bombs with Emily and blew up a couple ponds in the swamp. I don’t know if he’s still around or if what he did somehow added a bit of theatricality to your entrance or what.

“So… coffee, beer, cheese sticks?”

“A cat?” Urian echoed oddly, chuckling softly. “Doesn’t feel like a cat.” He commented, bemused, as he tilted his head as the other spoke. At the question he could only shake his head a slight bit, only to walk closer and pull Abraham to himself once more in a slightly tighter embrace. He hadnt really realized how much he had missed the other… not fully, any way. But, now, back in the presence of the excessively tall man, the man who had taken every precaution to protect himself as well as Urian should he need it, the man who had done his research but still, for some reason, welcomed him into his house. He had forgotten just what his energy felt like… He pulled away a bit, but only to steal a kiss.

Abraham shrugged. “I know, but she’s more comfortable like this for the moment.” he said about the cat.

At the kiss, Abraham couldn’t help but to pull Urian over to sit on the couch with him, just to sit and hold him. Worry had been setting in and although he knew his demon could handle himself, it was nice to let go of that worry.

The demon gave him a brief odd look for a moment at the comment of the cat. But then it hit him that the cat wasnt just a cat and he let the thought go. Especially as they sat on the couch, just laying together. The demon held the vampire tightly for a brief moment before kissing him very briefly. “Sorry I was gone so long.” He murmured. “I swear I kept meaning to come back.”

“Oh, I understand, work is work and things can snowball. I just tend to worry about my friends. Lovers especially. I know you can take care of yourself. It’s just my nature. But you are here now, and in one piece.”

Abraham kissed his cheek and after a moment bit his tongue to give Urian a bloody kiss.

“It almost seemed as though there was always something popping up as I readied to come back, actually…” he admitted softly, stroking his hand down the other’s back for a moment. At the kiss, and the first taste of blood, a sharp liss and a low groan escaped him, his grip on the otger suddenly tightening. He didnt let himself enjoy it too long, however. After a few secinds, his brain turned back on, instincts kicked to the back burner and a moment or two further, he psulled away slightky albeit partially out of breath. He nipped playfully at Abe’s lio, gently and avoiding the healing spot, before chuckling breathily.

“It’s good to have you back. Sorry if that was too much.”

His own head rush from the kiss had caused him to flush rather pink. Blue eyes held a light in them as he gazed at Urian a moment before he settled against him.

Why was he so nervous? A brief shuffle, a nervous run of fingers through his hair and a soft sigh as he knocked on the door of the office of one Abraham Sturges. Behind him, he felt the receptionist’s attention snap up to stare at him as though he were a ghost. He had accidentally just teleported in, and hadnt even greeted the poor woman. But he didnt have the energy nor time to be polite. She would have to due with civil ignoring as she prompted him for information. He had more important things to concern himself with. As he was prompted to enter, he did. “I couldnt figure out if pizza or coffee would be better to bring, so i simply left both in the abyss and came alone.” He attempted at a joke as the door shut behind him.

“So you’re not the one then, this didn’t come from you….hmmm.’ his own joke as he pointed to the very large sack in the corner - Raging Bull treated coffee beans for bedroom excitement.

“Just been to busy I guess? I’ve missed you…”

“Uh–” he scratched the back of his head a moment. “A bit of busy, a bit of hell. Y'knkw, normal.” He offered a half hearted grin that faded at the admission. He walked closer, wrapping his arms around the other with a slight smile. “As I did, you….immensely.”

“If you are in trouble, you know I’ll help. If you need to forget, I can help with that too.”

“Thank you, my friend.” Urian said softly, pulling back slightly and giving a brief shake of his head. “It isnt anything other than the normal. Business deal went wrong.” He held his hand out to offer to Abraham to see a deep X scarred inside the center of his palm. Flipping his hand over, a much larger sigil was scarred there as well. “Bad deal went bad–der. Got myself stuck for a little while, only to end up re-condemned. Having a corporial body really helped expedite the getting out process, though.” He chuckled.

Abraham studied the mark before gently taking Urian’s hand, aware that physical touch might be unwelcome at first. Blue eyes met and he smiled just slightly.

“The offer still stands. I’ll get a tattoo to pull you out of that place when things get bad.”

The smile that appeared on the demon’s face touched his eyes as well, filling them with warmth at the words. He allowed a firmness to take place in his hand, hoping it helped the other to know his touch was definitely welcome. “Yeah….I dont think I could ask that of you.” He admitted softly, leaning over to steal a brief kiss. “Even if it has been so long for me I havent even attempted to tell time.” He chuckled softly, a physical relaxation rolling theough his body.

At the brief kiss, Abraham flushed, just slightly, an arm around Urian when he did not pull away or flinch.

“Who bears the responsibility of a war? Not the soldiers, or those caught up along the way. They see the worst of it; they fire the guns and rockets. They see the blood. They are not the ones who insist on movements or use phrases like acceptable levels of collateral damage. It was only after I had to lead a war that I understood what war was… I am going somewhere with this.

“I use to have some very naive feelings about that place, Hell.. back when I was a hunter. It was a childish vengeance born of selfishness that took me far too long to outgrow. Circumstance and survival should never be factors to condemn someone to .. that. Learning to survive in such a place, as you have done… proof of your strength to adapt and survive… the accumulation of resulting sins are not a fault of yours alone. 

After a pause, wondering if he had gone too far…

“It’s been just over a month.”

Any response Urian had been politely saving faded at the last confusing statement, though understanding appeared in his eyes quickly. "A month? Is that it?" He asked oddly, frowning softly. "Interesting..." he paused and leaned down to steal another brief kiss. "Regardless, i am very glad to be back..."

He held his hand out to offer to Abraham to see a deep X scarred inside the center of his palm. Flipping his hand over, a much larger sigil was scarred there as well. "Bad deal went bad--der. Got myself stuck for a little while, only to end up re-condemned. Having a corporial body really helped expedite the getting out process, though." He chuckled.

Why was he so nervous? A brief shuffle, a nervous run of fingers through his hair and a soft sigh as he knocked on the door of the office of one Abraham Sturges. Behind him, he felt the receptionist’s attention snap up to stare at him as though he were a ghost. He had accidentally just teleported in, and hadnt even greeted the poor woman. But he didnt have the energy nor time to be polite. She would have to due with civil ignoring as she prompted him for information. He had more important things to concern himself with. As he was prompted to enter, he did. “I couldnt figure out if pizza or coffee would be better to bring, so i simply left both in the abyss and came alone.” He attempted at a joke as the door shut behind him.

It’s a good thing NDAs wetter part of the highering process…but Abraham lost that train of thought and chuckled.

“So you’re not the one then, this didn’t come from you….hmmm.’ his own joke as he pointed to the very large sack in the corner - Raging Bull treated coffee beans for bedroom excitement.

"Uh--" he scratched the back of his head a moment. "A bit of busy, a bit of hell. Y'knkw, normal." He offered a half hearted grin that faded at the admission. He walked closer, wrapping his arms around the other with a slight smile. "As I did, you....immensely."

Part of Urian was concerned by Abraham’s sudden disconsern for being caught…but it was easily trampled by the part of him that was too interested in his current actions to care. Either way you cut it, he soon found he was to inebriated by the feeling overcoming him to be bothered with anything other than the way Abraham looked when he touched just the right spots, just the right way.

Soon, however, they had finished their game and clothing was replaced where removed, the empty house giving Urian a place to lean against. “Fuck, that was hot….” he commented quietly, his eyes closed before opening and connecting with the other’s again.

“Mmmm ”  a sound of happy agreement.

Abraham leaned against the building beside Urian.

“The way I figure, people will always gossip and come up with the worst they can think of. I’m no stranger to it. During the election, people made and burned little dolls of me. Why not play with those gossipers so that no one can tell what’s true and what’s not?”

Urian was silent for a moment as he thought that over before chuckling with a nod. “Whatever floats yer boat, love.” He mused, pushing off the wall and stretching for a moment, hands clasped over his head briefly before dropping to his sides as he looked up at the building. “We should go in…figure out how bad the damage is.” He grinned.

Abraham simply didn’t have it in him these days to be bothered about what was said about him. He didn’t have the energy to micromanage his reputation (unless the gossip interfered with his work as a lawyer) and it wasn’t as if he could run for office again so what was the point?

He smiled and walked around the house with Urian to find a door or open window, which ever.

Urian stroked Abraham’s hair out of his face gently, whispering softly, “I’ll go to him and report Henry’s death. It’ll clear my name for a while and–hopefully he wont be angry.” He smiled thinly before shaking his head and kissing Abraham slowly. “Do t worry about the next stel just yet… worry about what yoi have to do after it.”

Abraham was silent, though he desperately wanted to speak, to say just want it meant to him, if this worked… but on the chance memories were examined he couldn’t voice it, couldn’t even really acknowledge it beyond what had already happened stuffing three quarters of it into the deeper parts of his mind until it was time for them.

He would have to go to Eden.. Emily and the boys would need looking after…

“Go…” (he couldn’t say while you’re injured so it looks better)… 

“I have to go to Eden…” (he couldn’t say that he wanted Urian back as soon as possible, or would call him up as soon as it was safe should he not come back)

Urian gave a couple of nods, understanding the simple words. He reached over and gently grabbed Abraham's chin and placing a kiss to his lips, a lingering one. He stood to leave and paused a moment and looked around vefore chuckling briefly. "I--uh....the doors arw closed, I cant leave..." he pointed out quietly. He walked with Abraham to yhe nearest door, the back one, and pressed another gentle kiss to his lips, lingering hesitantly. "I....I--" he shook his head and smirked softly before fading from sight.
