How To Live a Valuable Life
Have you ever been in a situation where you can just see your whole life passing by and you seem to stand in the very corner of your life thinking to yourself what the f*ck am I doing here? Who am I? And what is the reason of my sheer existence in this world?Â
Questions bigger than Amitabh Bachans height. After questioning and thinking like a freak I, Â fortunately, reached a conclusion to my questioning mind. We know that we are not blessed with the great powers of immortality as Kratos is from the god of war. As each minute of our life is passing by it is taking us closer to our lifeâs expiry date because of that The WHAT IFS of the inevitable DEATH MONSTER started to terrify me. What if I die in the next month, or next week or maybe tomorrow then what, I started to ask this question to myself. We are all aware of this ugly truth that the DEATH MONSTER is inevitable, it can knock you off in the blink of an eye and you canât do much about it. So how to be friends with the DEATH MONSTER and live a valuable life.Â
The answer to this question is simple but doing that is not easy either. In order to live a valuable life, we must take note of what values do we stand by as an individual. Often we donât ask this question to ourselves because we are busy marinating in the self-destruction of what we did wrong and indulge ourselves in negative self-sabotaging patterns of past behavior.
According to most of the deathbed stories, those individuals were full of regrets and self-loath who didnât spend their lives with alignment to their set values. Therefore I have made this decision that I am going to pursue what I actually value in my life be it drawing, writing, reading or baking. I am going to pursue it not to get a fortune out of it but to live a valuable life which stands by my own persona of living.Â
We should give ourselves the permission to do what we value in life because we all get one life and it should be spent doing the things which our heart sours for and since the DEATH MONSTER can arrive at my doorstep at any time of life without an appointment I should just accept it and do what matters to me in order to live a life thatâs full of all the experiences such as striving for a passion, failing at a goal, standing up and trying again to win the next battle of life with a smile on my face and a thought in my head that at least I am bold enough to go after my values in order to lead a regret free life.
