How the fuck was this a childrenâs television character?!?

I donât know who played Mr Blobby here.
But that guy deserved a Best Actor in a Comedy Emmy Award here. Â

I let you see the parts of me, that werenât all that pretty.. and with every touch you fixed them.
Boys that come from toxic exâs/relationships are PRECIOUS. Theyâll love you more than you can begin to comprehend because they know what itâs like to be taken for granted. Protect them at all costs!!!
guys who rarely wear suits look at least 385% hotter when wearing a suit while guys who usually wear suits look 451% hotter when wearing casual clothes trust me this is science
âWhat, what, what, WHAT!?â the actress recalls thinking. âBecause it comes out of fâking nowhere. Iâm flabbergasted. Absolutely never saw that coming.â [âŚ] âI cried,â Clarke says. âAnd I went for a walk. I walked out of the house and took my keys and phone and walked back with blisters on my feet. I didnât come back for five hours. Iâm like, âHow am I going to do this?ââ [âŚ] âI genuinely did this, and itâs embarrassing and Iâm going to admit it to you,â Clarke says. âI called my mom andââ Clarke shifts into a tearful voice to perform the conversation as she reenacts the call: â'I read the scripts and I donât want to tell you what happens but can you just talk me off this ledge? It really messed me up.â And then I asked my mom and brother really weird questions. They were like: âWhat are you asking us this for? What do you mean do I think Daenerys is a good person? Why are you asking us that question? Why do you care what people think of Daenerys? Are you okay?â And Iâm all: âIâm fine! ⌠But is there anything Daenerys could do that would make you hate her?ââ â Emilia Clarke, Entertainment Weekly

Itâs so funny to me that two adults are dressed like theyâre about to go in a store and then you have 15 years old whoâs dressed in suitÂ
[On the viral Valkyrie-Captain Marvel movement]:Â âOf course I would love the chance to work with Brie. We were just like, âLook! Itâs us together!â I think weâre both new to the MCU, so we both retain the sense of like, âCan you believe!?â Weâre just like, âWhat? We got capes? Whatâs happening?!â Weâre both really geeked out by having dolls and occupying this space. Weâre like womenâs women, so the idea of getting to do something that little girls are excited about, and people that identify as women feel excited about is coo. So, who knows if weâll get to do something together; itâs rad. But Iâm just so happy for her, and for us and what it means culturally right now.â - Tessa Thompson
wow, what a gorgeous month to remember autism isnât a disease and thereâs no âcure for autismâ and there shouldnât have to be one just because allistic people canât get the hell over themselves and realise other people experience the world differently and have different needs and require different accommodations. terrific.
autism is literally a neurological and development condition but ok sure yeah keep with the feel good platitudes, you absolute tit
Thereâs a strong difference between a âdiseaseâ and a âconditionâ, you absolute tit
Think of it this way. 83% of computers (laptop and desktop) use Windows. 13% use Mac. The vast majority of software is developed for windows, with another significant fraction developed for or adapted to mac, because thatâs what most people use and itâs all most people understand.
Now imaging youâre one of the 1.4% of computers are running Linux. This doesnât mean youâve got a windows machine with a virus, it doesnât mean your computer is broken, it doesnât mean it needs to get replaced with a more common operating system. Itâs not quite as good at some things most people take for granted, but itâs significantly better at a bunch of other things. But if you have a problem with your computer, the vast majority of people wonât have any idea what youâre talking about. Theyâll give advice for how to deal with a similar issue on their own computer, and it will be worthless. The only people with any idea what youâre going through are going to be on linux forums. And you can mostly muddle through all the things everybody else can do with improvisation and lots of WINE, but it sure would be nice if the devs of that video game you were looking forward to would like, acknowledge the existence of your demographic.
Now imagine that on top of all that, the primary linux support system had been taken over by a bunch of assholes whoâve never so much as looked at a command prompt in their lives. but who have declared themselves the Voice of Linux Users and keep spending millions of dollars on campaigns âeducatingâ everybody about how using linux makes you a fundamentally bad and stupid person so your laptop needs to be burned immediately to force you to get a correct computer.
i love that analogy so fucking much
As an IT person who uses linux and as a mother of one, possibly two autistic kids:
This is an excellent analogy.
